It was the series where we ran 3 times in a row and then kicked an easy field goal for a 14 point lead. We could have at least tried to go up by 3 scores. He didn't even try. That lacks the killer instinct to me. He's always overly concerned about burning clock. Hell, I'm very happy with the win. Just don't believe in allowing a team to stick around if you don't have to.Hogging the ball and ramming it down their throats is killer instinct to me.
He has quietly been really effective whenever he has been called upon.I just saw that of Emanuel Wilson's 107 yards rushing today, 94 came after contact.... he was a beast today.
This is not a sentiment that is only held by "spoiled" or "entitled" packers fans either. I see fans all over the league, media, etc bemoaning what appears to be a lack of killer instinct on our part. OF course I am not complaining too much about the result at the end of the day, but for a coach who has previously voiced a philosophy of "all gas, no brakes" and "scared money don't make money," it's a little bit incongruent, to say the least...It was the series where we ran 3 times in a row and then kicked an easy field goal for a 14 point lead. They had run it that entire drive to put them in position for that FG. (Litterally was 4 strait runs of 12, 6, 8 and 11 yards before that "3 strait runs")It was the series where we ran 3 times in a row and then kicked an easy field goal for a 14 point lead. Yeah Fire it was a good game plan, considering the short rest ahead. Nice catch. The rational logical side of me commends MLF for a solid plan to minimize the game and wear and tear knowing that there is another game in 4 days. The emotional side of me was frustrated with seemingly only 1 play on the play sheet for 1st down and for 3rd and 3. The emotional side of me was winning more on game day because I don't think I've ever been that frustrated watching them play on offense.
Only 'dud' I have is Love's running. Not sure why he didn't just take off and run for 4-5 yards on that one play, seemed like he had some real estate in front of him and not sure what was with that 2-3 yard run to the left. Seems like he has a battle going on in his head for running / not running. Granted, sore shoulder right now playing into that, but 1st example he just runs 4-5 yards out of bounds and other shouldn't have been run if shoulder sore so, I can't make sense of it.

And I know the play you're referring to where Love could have picked up 4-5 yards and a 1st down if he had run. He may be a little nicked up, but he very seldom uses his feet. I think he is concerned about injury, maybe too concerned. He has the youth and ability to run. Maybe it's MLF telling him to minimize the runs. IDK but I'd like him to be more opportunistic with running.
efense, wilson, parsons, garyStealing their manhood in the process. It's a beautiful thing to see.Hogging the ball and ramming it down their throats is killer instinct to me.
Safer in police custody. He could have gotten himself into a really bad situation out in the parking lot2 Viking Fan Duds:
I guess that maybe the 1st guy could be considered a stud, since he came prepared with the paper bag.
2nd guy...just an angry drunk Viking fan, who's trip back to Minny Ha-Ha got delayed.

I am hopeful that you are not referring to me. I am capable of criticizing without it meaning to get rid of him. If that was what I wanted; I would have said so. And I have never said that.We have officially reached the point where we can win against a divisional opponent by three scores, in November, give up less than 200 yards total yards on us, multiple TOs, 5 for 7 scoring on drives that mattered................AND many fans would literally today if it were them have MLF pack his bags.
I am truly at a point of not understanding it at all anymore...
The Bears have the better record, but I still believe our biggest battle for the division will be with the *****.Studsefense, wilson, parsons, gary
I feel the giants win was our turn around game and the launching point for our big division run toward the playoffs. The lions are vulnerable. We can take them. Hard to believe I am saying this but it looks like the bears will be our toughest battle.
Just need MLF to stay on course, run most plays from under center and stay out of hafleys way.
It's all fair to discuss. If I were to guess, I would guess that he was told not to scramble unless absolutely necessary. The last few weeks he has taken some big hits while scrambling, including getting injured just one week ago. Even if MLF didn't pull back on the reins, I'm sure that the little man on Jordan's shoulder whispered "restraint" into his ear. I don't begrudge him at all.And I know the play you're referring to where Love could have picked up 4-5 yards and a 1st down if he had run. It's funny. Only a couple of years ago I argued with folks on here that the Lions were going to be the division leaders. It was met with mostly ridicule. Now that the Lions have been there a few years, I'm not going to predict their demise. They are still a good team and just had a solid win yesterday, but like Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, has shown this season that they are not a machine. They are men that are having their own struggles. The Bears have the better record, but I still believe our biggest battle for the division will be with the *****.

That's good advice. Hafley is a terrific DC and will likely be gone next year for a HC gig. Take advantage of his creative and effective game planning - he gets a lot out of the talent he has, something that has not been the case for the offense. (Gluten should also be grooming one of Hafley's assistants to take his place.)Studsefense, wilson, parsons, gary

Agreed. For a big guy, Love is prone to injury from hits other QBs would brush off. So yeah, discretion is the better part of valor in his case. It's all fair to discuss. So is it your belief that the majority of Packer fans (across all "platforms" as you say), right now, would like to see MLF fired?I didn't have any specific person her citing that for. It's more a culmination of the mindsets and expressions shared after and/or during every game across all Packers platforms.

I think the "MLF should pack his bags crowd" was born out of the frustration they felt over his decision making process that cost us several games we should have won. So they were right to feel frustrated.I am hopeful that you are not referring to me. I am capable of criticizing without it meaning to get rid of him. If that was what I wanted; I would have said so.
