Duds: An offense that went 3 and out 3 x beginning the 2nd half that could not put the ball in the end zone at end of 1st half and then ST missed field goal. McManus, DB's (again), OL in 2nd half that could not run, pass block and Love who made bad passes (multiple times in 2nd half), failed to get the ball hiked in time AFTER a timeout, a fumbled snap on last play of game. You cannot leave your D out on the field against any good team 3x times in a row and then expect them to have gas at the end of the game. Is J Harbaugh available along with a new GM????? and maybe give Willis a shot at QB1 next year.

- all night dimes. That last drive that dime to Reed on the left side deep dropped….Rome short left crosser dropped…the dime thrown into the tiny hole between three defenders that Watson was running too that likely ends up a touchdown dropped…

Watson - he produced but he was a massive reason all the other touchdowns happened, he shifts an entire defense.

Cooper - once he went out the defense struggled, he was FLYING AROUND.

DUDS

McManus - he sucked earlier this year and now this…just cut him.

MLF - HC has to be here if you let that game slip away.

Honestly…not sure of a third one atm.

Right now the Packers have to feel even worse than the Ravens. Both were eliminated because their kicker could not kick when needed. But ours missed 3 times.
First kick was long distance in cold wind. Extremely high difficulty. Missed XP was a poor hold by Whelan. He put the ball down about 2-3" too far to the right. Third one was all McManus. None of them are the reason we lost.

That first loss against the Bears really hurt because it was such a travesty. But this one, honestly, I can't even feel that bad because it was about just what I expected to happen. At the end of the first half we were up 21-3, but we had already left points off the board, and I just had a bad feeling about it. Definitely didn't feel too safe, even with an 18 point lead.

The Bears are only going to get better.

Lafleur has to be fired…. Haven’t won a division title for years and can’t make second half adjustments it’s time to move on… they lost 5 frickin games in a row I’ll give some grace for the Vikings game because it didn’t matter. But it has to be on him some major changes needed. Depth is an issue and our corners blow. McManus can pack his bags too. But dang man it falls on lafleur and execution like Kevin Greene once said.. “It’s Time”

Packers called for seven penalties (65 yards), Bears only two penalties (5 yards).

How do you give up 25 points in the fourth quarter? That's 100 points a game!

Sorry, I'm not sold on Love. His stats were pretty good, but two penalties for intentional grounding (not sold on those either) and another for delay of game. Looked lost under pressure whereas Caleb Williams seems to thrive. Williams only had a passer rating of 71.6 and threw two INTs but looked like freaking Superman in the second half. Love is good, don't get me wrong, I just don't have any faith in him to throw the team on his back at crunch time and lead us to the promised land.

I'll throw LaFLeur one bone, his resting of (nearly) all his players in that game nearly paid off. But as usual, we come up short.

Yes I agree I have said that since they have had him he is a solid QB but not worth the money they paid him IMO I know people like to disagree but love is a AVERAGE qb… I can see us keeping lafleur and love and if they suck again then they tear everything down. As much as I want Lafleur fired they won’t do it

I defended him until recently. This game for me he proved

1. Nothing was coached regarding the Bears ability and intent to take the ball away. We were fortunate actually. Could’ve been several fumbles.

2. I felt like we went soft and didn’t press end of Q2. Getting into better FG range was imperative. Even another
5-10 yards Could’ve made a difference and we just played like it was a bonus series (played too safe).

3. Using Timeouts has been very sporadic. He actually got a challenge which is very rare for him. Yet his backing us up with 3rd n 10 at Chi21 was mind boggling

4. Imo MLF repeats the same mistakes in similar circumstances, indicating it’s a strong possibility he just doesn’t understand the consequences. It is possible he’s just to proud to want to change, so he lacks an ability to adapt. Smartness guy in the room syndrome etc.

Don’t get me wrong he has been a good coach but he isn’t the answer he has shown he can’t get it done and second half play his whole tenure has been atrocious imo. I just think it’s time to move on. I wasn’t expecting a Super Bowl run but he didn’t adjust well in the season and should have set himself up to win the division easily and poured it away… the eagles browns panthers all bad loses and I also think us having a average qb doesn’t help.

Studs:

Love (300+ yards, 4 TDs, no interceptions)
Linebackers (All of them, would love to see Clay come back)
WRs (All of them, Golden broke out)

Mids:

D-Line (Held up better than expected)
Hafley (He's the DEF coordinator; great first 3 quarters, 4th quarter collapse falls on him)

Duds:

MLF (Poor management of timeouts)
O-Line (Penalties killed drives and lack of discipline)
Secondary (Torched like marshmallows at a campfire)
RBs (Yuck!!!)

Trash:

McManus (goodbye!!!)

What's the worst that can happen? The same thing happens next year, and then maybe they decide to make some changes. Of course, Gute already went all in with Parsons, so maybe that's bad timing. Heck, maybe next season we can finish 0-6.

Yeah, that's what I think. This team is SOFT. And I just don't see MLF as being the guy to turn that around.

I think Love did enough to Win this game. 27pts and we have to agree we left several FG’s or XPA out there. Love did enough to log 30+ points and that if our HC plays the clock better? It’s a very good chance we still Win. Combine the Kicker misses and Apathetic opening 2nd half? It was tough, but Jordan was actually pretty good imo.
24/46 (several drops)
323 yards passing
4 TD 0 INT
103.8% passer rating.

It was Jordan’s
4th best yards across 52 career starts including postseason

tied #1 best for most TD’s (4)
