We win, we are in... we win two, and the Bears lose both of their last 2 games, we win the division... you never know.
Possible, but unlikely. Do we even have a quarterback for next week, anyone know?

What did he do? He didn’t have a single tick in the stat sheet. Not a sack, not a tackle, not a QB hit, not a pass deflection, nothing.
I don't know how many snaps he had but he pressured Williams a few times. Because he hasn't played much we really don't know what we have with him. As a high pick he'll have plenty of opportunities to show if he belongs going forward. I hope he does. You hate to have a high pick like this flame out.

I saw this on YouTube, the guy is talking about the Bears' winning play in OT. The guy is a Bear fan, but it is interesting. They only had one WR on the play, he was well covered, and the Packers had pressure on Williams, but he throws a TD from the Packer 46 anyway. Pretty wild. I'm not sure what conclusions to draw from it, maybe it was just meant to be.

In that famous meltdown in Seattle in 2014 Russell Wilson threw one a lot like that in OT to beat us from midfield.

And if Walker doesn't have his jersey obviously yanked, he likely gets to Williams and knocks the ball out of his hand. But NFL officiating is clown world. Most high school crews are better these days.

In no way do I think Charles Martin acted out his blindside hit in McMahon without prior approval. I just don't see a player taking on that kind of risk of a huge suspension without some prior approval.

At the time, there was really bad blood between Ditka and Forrest Greg. I think Greg was retaliating against Ditka for running up the score against Bart Starr five years earlier in a 61-7 blowout.

Forrest Greg had the reputation of having a short fuse. Even Lombardi didn't bother to say much to Greg during his playing days.
The play was over and Martin did a body slam on McMahon, if someone approved it they made it pretty obvious message to be sent, and so went his career with it

It wasn't a blindside hit. Blindside hits are perfectly legal. It was a body slam directly on his shoulder. Have you seen the play?
Correct, it was a body slam. At the time, the Bears and especially McMahon were so unpopular in Packerland that T-shirts commemorating the play sold like hotcakes. I had one.

Instead of repeating terrible similar losses why not repeat SB victories from like 7th wildcard. Let's do this PACK.

If you want to get more aggravated over this game, consider this: The Packers did not punt at all during this game, but lost anyway. In fact, GB has had two games this season where they didn't punt: against the Bears and the Panthers. GB lost both of them! Shows how much our lack of red zone offense is hurting us. And IIRC, each game had some controversy over passing up a field goal to go for it on fourth down.

To make it even more aggravating, I heard there have been eight other games in the NFL where a team didn't punt. But of course, those teams won all eight of them. GB is 0-2.

Yup and it wasn't just "yanked", it was grabbed early and held on to, heck Bears TE Durham Smythe (#81) is pulled off the ground by it!

Or 1 more Lion loss.
That lions loss last night to Rodgers was awesome:). How Rodgers got ahead double digits twice. Only for lions answer and stay in striking distance... They had two TD called back beside the game winning TD called back, if I seen correct. Lol. 3 TDs called back on that last drive. Losing as painfully as the packers did Saturday

Taking it the distance on those 2 runs by the Steelers against Detroit shows how much the Lions D is hurting. Rodgers has to feel good going into the postseason knowing he does not have to throw all the time.

Good question! We better have one.

It would be such a Packer thing to lose the last 2 and for Detroit to win theirs. I am really hoping the Vikings can beat the Lions on Christmas. I really wouldn’t want to have to go into the last game needing to beat Minnesota.

The similarities between those two games is haunting. And disturbing.
I brought that Seattle example live in the thread. I couldn’t decide what was worse. Losing a championship with both engines failing or losing to the bears Lol

Hate to quote myself, but the more I look at this picture, the more I think "Why don't all defensive players wear tear away jerseys/undershirts? The Bear TE would have been standing their with a handful of it and Walker hits Williams.

Imagine how hard it would be for officials to justify not calling a holding penalty, when there are 4 or 5 offensive lineman standing around after a play, with torn clothes in their hands. Packers might have to have about 30 Parsons jerseys on the sidelines for each game. :coffee:

How the Bears can get away with a fistful of Jersey stretched 2 feet away from the body is very questionable. I realize they can’t catch every hold, especially an arm bar that doesn’t involve a Defender getting past you. However the blatant grabbing a Jersey like this that affected the play on the QB? Cmon
If that happened to a WR it would’ve been called 99 out 100 times

People wanted to be all dismissive about bringing an old guy like Davante Adams back (when he pretty much openly admitted that he wanted to come back), but let’s be honest, he would have been an enormous difference maker in the red zone for us this year.
