The Green Bay Packers placed safety Nick Collins on injured reserve Wednesday morning. Collins suffered a neck injury in week two at Carolina.

So sad to hear that even though I expected it. I still held out some hope he'd be back before the playoffs. Prayers and thought for Collins! It does however free up a roster spot. We are weak at offensive tackle, maybe they will pick up somebody?

No real surprise they put nick on the IR. I really hate to say it but I think we have seen Nick Collins play his last NFL game. This is an injury you can't mess with.

Nope. It will be at least 6 months before they know anything at all about the possibility of him ever playing again. To be honest, I would expect him to miss all of, or even most of next season as well, and that's if he returns at all.
