It's Friday, I finished all of my client work, and I am already thinking about the weekend. However, there is room for the Green Bay Packers too.

Who would you put on your All-2010s Team for the Green Bay Packers? I'm going with the best 22 players that I would put on the field (in their prime) against an opponent. Feel free to go with the best players at each position, best stats, etc. It doesn't really matter as long as you are happy...

For handy reference, I found this great list of starters each season which in no way is complete but does provide most of the names that one might select: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/gnb/lineups.htm

My list:
Offense
QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Eddie Lacy
RB Aaron Jones (one heck of a thunder & lightning combo with Lacy)
WR Davante Adams
WR Jordy Nelson
TE Jermichael Finley
LT David Bakhtiari
LG Josh Sitton
C Corey Linsley
RG TJ Lang
RT Bryan Bulaga

Defense
NT Kenny Clark
DE Ryan Pickett
DE Mike Daniels
OLB Clay Matthews
OLB Julius Peppers
ILB AJ Hawk
ILB Desmond Bishop
CB Charles Woodson
CB Jaire Alexander
S Nick Collins
S Adrian Amos

Wow - choosing a set of ILBs is gut wrenching due to the lack of choices.

The only issue I have with your selection that if someone intercepts a ball, Julius Peppers might tell him to get down rather than return it.

Damn... that's a "Murderer's Row". Put all 22 of them together in their primes, and you're going to take home a lot of big, gaudy rings.

That's a very good list EG, no additions from me beyond this.

It's interesting that you include Eddie Lacy, and a pity his career was so short. Had he taken better care of his body, he could have produced at a high level for another 3 years or so. Even the big RBs like Lacy get hit, a lot. That took its toll on him, but so did his weight.

I don't think Jones and Lacy ever played together. Jones is having a remarkable, long, and productive career for a guy that "small". He is all muscle and has great vision. Hated to see him go......

I have 2 changes from the OP's lineup.

1.) RG ANYBODY but TJ Lang, you could choose Marco Rivera or Jon Runyan Jr. I've hated Lang since the Ndamakung Suh thing when Lang was standing right there and did nothing.

2.) Nick Barnett at ILB over Des Bishop, just a preference based on longevity.

Only thing is Marco Rivera played in the 90s and early 2000's, and Runyan Jr was drafted in 2020, so neither one can be considered for the all 2010's team, since they didn't play in that era. As for replacing Lang, there aren't many options. Jahri Evans, Byron Bell, and Billy Turner all played only 1 season in the 2010's, where TJ played over 100 games during that time, including 1 Pro Bowl appearance. He is the winner by default, if nothing else.

Correct. This is only for the 2010s, otherwise I would have put Jerry Kramer in there.

Technically Nick Barnett played four games in 2010, plus the one playoff game from 2009 that was played in Jan'10. Therefore he would count.

IMHO one of the big reasons we won the super bowl that year was because Bishop took over for Barnett. Barnett should never have been a middle linebacker. Yes, he got a lot of tackles. Because of the position he played. He was not a stud there.
