I have no idea where PA got that crap about our O-line. I don't think we have had the same 5 players on the line from one game to the next so far this year. At one time, we had 4 backups and one starter playing. The O-line has been so decimated with injuries this year, I can't even tell you who will be starting tomorrow.

As for JJM. He has flashes of brilliance placed in spaces of WTF are you doing? His best playing? Down by one score with 4 minutes left in the game. Look at the second Bears game. One good drive at the beginning of the game, a bunch of crap in the middle, then he lights it up at the end. Had our Special teams not given up 56 56-yard kickoff return, we might have won that game.
Yeah the Vikes played well enough to win against the Bears. JJM does play very well in Q4 under pressure to produce. That makes his play in the other 3 quarters baffling.

I haven't seen stats, but does JJM tend to hold the ball for 3 plus seconds? If that's true it may explain his struggles, and 6/9 TD/INT ratio. And it would (should?) present a feast for the Packers' D.

Regardless, the Vikes always find a way to play well against GB. GB fans can't take anything for granted with this team. I wish they could go back to the type of play against Detroit in week 1. They played with confidence and aggressiveness. They are a sluggish team now with very little team chemistry/energy.

I hate saying those words. MLF doesn't do a good job getting his players ready mentally to play a game. That's certainly been a weakness of his. And Love's play, while very good, looks unmotivated, unenergetic. A little fire from our QB would be a welcome change.

I'm surprised at how seldom Love is under center. It's so hard, maybe impossible, to run the RPO out of shotgun. Defenses know this and have been getting a lot of pressure on Love. To his credit, he throws very few INTs. Even so, running RPO from under center would be a great way to extend drives, move the sticks, all that.

And too frequently Love is taking unwise downfield shots and either not seeing or ignoring double or even triple coverage. Those should be saved for when a mismatch occurs, ala no safety present on a WR, especially Watson or Golden who can easily beat single coverage on a "go" route.

While is an interesting TE. He may be a better pure TE than Musgrave. Musgrave looks and plays like a WR.
TV schedule
I live on the East Coast. The packers will not be on regular TV today. That's OK, there are other games we will get that are just as important.
1pm CBS has Bears vs Steelers.
430 pm Fox has Lions vs Giants

The bears may have to deal with Aaron Rodgers. Not sure yet if will play but if he has one of his big games and the steelers D plays well enough, or if the Giants put up the same staunch fight they put against us and the Lions are off a little, anything is possible... on any given Sunday!

It is a tough schedule to end this season but if the Packers are as good as we hope and believe they are, it's a good test going into the playoffs. If they do well through these next few weeks, they'll have proved to everyone, including themselves that they belong there and won't be counted out.

It's a great opportunity for the coaching staff to begin sorting out the players who will and won't make a difference when they get to the playoffs where it's win or go home.

I'd prefer the schedule like it is as opposed to going out of it with a bunch of walkovers. You just got to reach inside yourself and find what you're really made of.
The hard part is that the roster is not as strong as it was in Week 1 or 2 with the exception of Watson. Our defense has been on the field for long drives. The 2 hope fors in the Viking game are turnovers and running the football. Follow the Bears formula.

No Josh Jacobs today.
With another game in 4 days I do not see how he physically could perform in both. Will be tough sledding today. Hope these guys hold onto the football. Brooks should see a lot of pass blocking reps against the Viking blitz. I would not go with any empty backfields unless it is a designed quick out.

I do not think Musgrave looks like any kind of receiver.

In some ways I am glad we play Thursday and not on the weekend. The weather is going to change drastically after the holiday and travel can be affected and delayed. This will give us 10 days to prepare for a very frosty Bear game.

Just don't predict a QB sack on the first defensive down by Quay Walker, since he's inactive too...:whistling::roflmao:
I think we may see the Vikings run more today, although O'Connell loves to throw. Watching film of how other teams played us may cause them to wait on the zinger.

Maybe we'll see some of Hopper. I noticed a play last week where he was very slow to figure out where the run was going and didn't see much of him after that. I hope he can get a fast start when he is in. His forte should be in stopping the run. But he'll need a good eye to see the play developing and then react and get to the ball. imho. Would like to see him do well.

Remember what PA said about the O-line? Now, I didn't have the chance to watch the game. The "his" best o-line gave up 5 sacks?

I loved how the Vikings decided to blanket Doubs with two defenders. It gave the rest of our receivers single coverage. I also liked how our offensive line held the Vikings blitzes to a minimum. They were on it about half the time. I thought Kinnard did a solid job considering his lack of experience in the Packers system.

Yes. Kinnard was a good trade. He seems solid

I was hoping that the Packers would play as well against the Queens as they did in week 1 v Detroit. I didn't know what to expect, but they certainly delivered.

Quietly, the D has truly emerged as one of the best. Giving up 13 to Detroit and 10 to Philly (not to mention the Cleveland (13 pts) and Carolina game (16 points), it's amazing. The only outlier was the 40 pt tie with Dallas.

So while I hate "what if" games, all three losses came by 3pts each, 9 in total. That's just amazing to me.

Well it was the right time for a game like this. They came out with energy and intensity and maintained it. On to Detroit.

You were spared my friend. I believe that at one point, Greg Olsen (who was the color commentator) described the Vikings after a terrible sequence on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down as now being at 4th & Ugly.

The Vikings offensive line really struggled. I feel really bad for Ryan Kelly. I don't think that he should be playing any more with his concussions, but he's decided to do so. The Packers took advantage of that.

Am I getting this right? The Vikings had Kirk Cousins, let Sam Darnold go after finishing 14-3 (Now 8-3 with Seattle), had Daniel Jones in-house as backup and let him go (Now 8-3 with Colts), AND perhaps turned down signing Aaron Rodgers for favor of a kid who looks to hardly even be backup quality? Sheesh
