2nd inning ... the Reds gave Miz a slap in the face with the carp of reality. Then, wazzizname comes in picks up right where Miz left off ... Hall... that wazzizname. YIKES!

So sorry to hear about your wife. You deserve a break, you should go. I am sure you can make arrangements for care for your wife while you enjoy yourself watching a baseball game. I bet your wife will also be happy that you do it too. :)
Oh, she'll insist on it. She'll practically kick me out of the house; she's constantly trying to get me to do stuff like that. Actually, it's really not that bad... 2 hours each way, i'm home by midnight if I go to the Saturday game. Sunday, the last game of the sason, is a day game, but the Packers play that day too, so I need to be home to watch that.

I just hope they play Cincinnati a lot tougher that weekend than they are today. Mis got lit up for 5 runs in the first 2 innings, Hall came in and contributed 3 more, and the Reds are up 8-1 in the 3rd.

Damn.

Edit: whoa; the guys are fighting back. They've rung up 6 runs in the 3rd, and are only down 2!!

No matter how this game ends, that comeback from down 1-8, is HUGE for future mental fuel.

...and I do... can't believe I believe it.

Then, there's Yelich... TFG!!!
4 for 5, 5 RBI, 2 homers... he carried the team today.

What a statement they made today. Down 8-1 in the 2nd inning, come back to win it 10-8! .633, 33 games over .500, 13 in a row.... I've been a Brewer fan my whole life, and I've never seen them play like this.

That's a game that really shows/proves just how focused and good this team is. I think a lot of teams after that second inning might have said "Hey, it's an off night, we won 12 straight, it was bound to end." Not THIS team!

The bullpen was fabulous, with 23 straight outs. Seriously?

Oh and Yelich? He was using his Bob Uecker Bat!

I tell you folks, this season is Magical!

I want to know how many Cub fans and other scoreboard watchers saw that the Brewers were down 1-8 after the 2nd inning and shouted to anyone that could hear them: "LOL....I told you those Brewers weren't legit!!"

20 minutes later....they saw the score was 8-8 and they just sat their....speechless.

Get a grip man. All this "whistling and skipping" Pollyanna stuff is just setting yourself up for heartbreak when the division title has to be settled on the last day of the regular season.

I'm only looking out for ya man. :sneaky:

This so far is the greatest stretch of Brewers baseball I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Last night they just never gave up. That Vaughn homer was the turning point in that game.

Brewers fought back against a tenacious Cincinnati team all day; Reds played them very tough. But they just kept scrapping, and won 6-5 in 11 innings.

78-44, .639, 9 games ahead of Chicago. I don't think Milwaukee has ever been even close to 34 games over .500 before, in their entire 55 year history.

Reds made a few mistakes and the Brewers, as they have done countless times, made them pay for it.

It was Top of 9th and score 1-2 Reds when I joined. Hope I brought them luck!!
They walked Turang and Black which was eventually lethal with 0 outs. The clean sweep of Cincinatti and Chicago is still on the table.

and sadly....the streak comes to an end. Really thought Contreras's 2 run homer in the top of the Ninth to make it 2-1, was going to be another miracle finish! Just not enough gas left in the bullpen to finish the Reds off.

Time to start another 14 game streak tomorrow against the Cubs!

Interesting. So the steak was broken but even then, it took extra Innings.
