Huh? Half the Packers' receptions were <10 yards. It's not like 10 dumpoffs for 31yds like someone else in the game. Even without Gibbs 10, Goff had half his passes less than 10 yds.

Most teams don’t have half their passes going for 10+ yards.

Jordan Ranks between 4-10 in most major categories. I think I saw his DVOA was #4, which is higher than I expected.
Two games in, The Packers rank #1 on both O and D in DVOA.

As far as having that high echelon WR1. While I don’t think it’s a bad thing to have a Davante Adams type player, it can problematic if that player is game planned for or injured etc. The Packers use a philosophy of spreading the ball around. I think that is part of their success. Defenses don’t really know who the ball is going to, which can create some confusion also. So what you lose in 1 guys big play ability, you make up for in team contribution.

PFF grade: 6th
Yards: 5th
TD: 6th
Pass EPA: 3rd
INT: 3rd least
Passer Rating: 3rd
Yds/Att: 4th
EPA/Dropback: 2nd
Comp% Over Expected: 5th

Avg against Peers: #4.1

Now what gets interesting. In 3 of 4 contests Love operated without 2 of his Top 4 WR’s (Watson AND Reed). He has not had his starting 5-OL all play over 50%+ snaps since vs. Detroit.

So I ask this. Where would he be ranked with his starting 5 OL and Watson and Reed in the mix?

I totally agree. He plays some great football. It's just those 4-minute games at the end of both halves that bother me. Even that isn't as much on him as LeFleur.

When LeFleur takes the responsibility for situations there's a good reason, he's making decisions that aren't going to help Love make magic happen. At that point it's up to Love to take a page out of both Favre & Rodgers handbooks and do something a little different to change the results. In most cases it sure couldn't be worse than what's happening.

Still have people bit ch and call him horrible or 3rd rd talent
Anyone who says that about him doesn't understand football and there's absolutely no reason to believe anything they say. Love is far from perfect, but I have yet to see the person playing the game who did it perfectly. I always look at it like this. In baseball, if a batter is right in hitting a pitch 30% of the time he's at bat he's considered a phenomenal hitter. That's so far from perfect. Football is no different. They also forget that Love's game is still growing. It isn't like he's a veteran of 8 or 9 campaigns as a starter.
