I have always felt third round is that awkward point where prospects can get the best of you....you have some guys that have been CRAZY productive and even in like the SEC that you just cannot believe is there so you might push aside some yellow flags and hope the player is better than the prospect (Amari Rodgers example). You also though have some guys that have been less productive or such that you and your scouts think are worth the pick but you hesitate given it is still Day 2....it's odd.
Yes. There seems to be a void between around an 75-80 overall selection and 110-115 overall area. It’s no man’s land that 3rd Comp area. When you get back into Evan Williams area Doubs or Tom might not necessarily land an All Pro1 but it gives you a nice high floor medium-high ceiling guy.
At 88 overall its really swinging for the 2nd deck there and hoping for maybe that 1 in 5 chance he’s an All Pro and just got passed on RD1-2
