He started in Chicago out of Purdue. Also played with Denver, KC, Dallas and Buffalo. A true journeyman.
I believe if they had given Kyle Orton two solid years, we could've been something special...... he wasn't a world beater, but if he had any sense of consistency with that defense, he had a good enough arm and instincts to make a run if Joe Flacco can win a Super Bowl.... so could he IF.......he'd been given a chance.....

He looked pretty ordinary throughout the game I saw, but he was scrappy enough to eke out a very late win.

Look's like Ty, HeyJoe and Caleb were actually onto something. I'm hoping that all of the weirdness will slow down a bit. Well done guys!
This is crazy. The league may be turning upside down now. Do not count on anything Sunday, even the Packers.

Thanks CC. I saw it as Philly not playing nearly well enough to be 4-1, and a rumor that Barkley is banged up. Looks like Detroit is once again the team to beat in the NFC. Would like to see the Packers start a winning streak on Sunday.

Yeah I started to feel this way when Cleveland beat the Pack. Detroit is clearly the best team in the NFL, for now. Gives the Packers something to aim for, again, on Thanksgiving.

We called it man!
What did it for me Was two things......
I heard someone say that Philadelphia had won their games by less than a touchdown and they were kind of close and cam skattaboo had been running like a man possessed and I figured if they could get a lead they would just hand it off to SKU and see if they could run out the clock and they did a lot more than that.

You, Caleb and I had the Giants winning. I picked the Giants because Dart is playing well, and in spite of their previously 4-1 record, really haven'd done much with their offense - run or pass. I also hear Barkley may be nicked up. He hasn't done a lot this year, 58 yards last night.

Why did you pick the Giants?

Same here, and Dart has been playing well. And in spite of their record, the Philly offense has struggled. Barkley in particular has not been himself, with I think 58 yards last night.

Detroit looks like the strongest NFC team right now, but as they found out last year, that can change.

Anyway, this is the perfect time for the Packers to go on a run. The schedule is tough, but the next four games are winnable. First things first. Clobber the Bengals.

Nice job picking the G-men!

I should’ve listened to my Father n Law. Last weekend at the Birthday party he told me “watch out for the Giants”. He used to Coach HS football and recognized something changed with them I guess. Beating Eagles ok I get it. They manhandled Philly much of the night.

I have a feeling our OL will still struggle again and Love will be throwing most of the game even against the Bengals. MLF will have to use a lot if the plays he used in Dallas. Let us hope McManus can make the basic kicks. Cincy is reeling and this is the kind of game MLF forgets is not easy.
I think back to the Jets game in 2022. We were supposed to pummel the NY team that had no QB,and running game, and a poor O line. Instead we get a blocked FG, a blocked punt, a fumble, a stuffed running game, and Rodgers chasing his tail in the worst regular season home loss in years.

The last time I checked, they weren't allowed to run around the baseball path with a hockey stick so I think we're good.......

Whichever team is leading after the 1st inning appears to be the victor... why bother playing 2-9? ;)
I think this is true for every game in the series. The first inning has been the best, or worst, for each team.

Not shutting down the Cubs with Peralta starting is not good, but not fatal. The Brewers have an excellent bullpen and they should get the job done tonight.

Then players - and this is Pat Murphy's job, in part - need to relax and play the way they were in August, and the first two games of this series. Easy to say, hard to do. I think home field wins this one.

Well I hope after Cleveland and Dallas, MLF doesn't take anything for granted.

The Bengals have a lousy O line. MLF is likely to run early and often and keep the Bengals offense on the bench. I'd like to see more RPO once the run is established, and getting the ball to Golden more often, although Doubs has been terrific in Reed's absence.

I remember all those short passes Rodgers would throw to Jordy Nelson, and with his speed, he's turn short receptions into huge gains. Golden should certainly be able to do that. About time they started using him.
