Right now I would consider the Vikes and Cowboys to be the two best teams in the NFC. But that is a long ways away from where everything may be come playoffs.

We need to credit those two teams though, they are playing great football. We need people to step up and start playing the way they are being paid. These are the teams to beat right now, but other teams (as well as us) could get red hot come playoffs and change evything.

The Packers have to start playing better to even make it to the playoffs.

OC Norv Turner just resigned with TE coach Pat Shurmur taking over playcalling/OC duties. Damn, just when the Vikes were seriously tanking will this be a shot-in-the-arm for the offense?

That's pretty creepy. And the Vikes dropped 2 in a row after that stunt.

Maybe Turner didn't want to work for guy who went off the rails.

Unless a team is just totally emotionally dead and going through the motions , I always found it funny why a coach would even think a motivational stunt was necessary or would even work. What are the players going to say? 'Hey guys, let's try extra hard this week after that , we know we weren't really trying this week.

Lions beat Queens in OT. Third straight loss. Sometimes a Viking just falls off the wall.

Gonna be a lot of pissy Packer fans on this thread if they beat us again Christmas Eve.

Well, Walsh struggled mightily since missing that chip shot field goal against the Seahawks in the playoffs.

Given the Packers' performance since the debacle, it appears that imploding against the 'Hawks is a recipe for future disaster.

Hey, at least you had a month or so of greatness! That will get you through the off season! ;)

We have a great "what if" and "what should" manual being written in GB if you need to borrow it.
Well, I'll take your o-line for the next 7 games if you don't mind.
