He beat the one guy that had a shot at him in the backfield Ford I think) … and then he pretty much had a free run all the way to the end zone. As with most things its a little of both… terrible effort by the players not getting off blocks… and bad defensive strategy not having more people to account for A running QB.

Have to question that long throw on 4th down with the way the wind is blowing. Coverage was good. Needed to move the sticks there. Wasted turnover.

There’s an area where we repetitively get inside our opponents 40 yard line this season (just outside FG range) and it’s really 4 down territory. If we make the 32-34 yards line of Chicago are we going to punt on 4th and 2 or 3? No

The usual is we try for a 10-20 yard pass and take a sack at the 50.

Or we abandon the run because we don’t think we can get 5 yards in 2 tries.
