Back in August, my wife bought tickets to this game for my birthday. It went from being exciting to worthless when the Vikings sucked. When the Vikings started winning again, it looked promising, but now we suck and are likely going to sit players. At least there is alcohol.
The one game my friend said wasn't available at the beginning of the year. Now she has two tickets that aren't being used. I could have gone, but I went to the Washington game.

This is the most meaningless game ever.

It probably going to be The Clayton Tune show Sunday. Starring a bunch of other teams sloppy seconds.

Also I hope Bears win so we can go to Chicago and enact revenge.
At this point, I'd call the season a success with a round 1 win over the Bears. After that, the Packers will be playing with house money.

Try to get the game over as soon as possible. No more casualties. Does not matter if the Vikings beat us 40-0. Keep the clock running. Try to run the ball rotating backs. The Vikings will blitz every passing down and Tune can get sacked or picked. It is not pretty but it is what it is.
Agreed. Not ideal to end the regular season on a 4-game losing streak, but that's the way it has to be.

The playoff team will be the same one that should have beat the Bears a few weeks ago. Avoid the late mistakes and I see no reason why the Packers shouldn't win.

Beyond that? Well, beat the Bears first.

Meaningless= rest em all...that being said, hoping for a Bears loss and a Eagles win.
I'm the same, rest any one of importance, pull from the practice squad if you need more people to field a full team. Dont know if you can do that, but save whatever we have left from our decimated prime time group.

Smug you say? Yes he is, but my pick for the smuggiest smug ever is, Jim Schwartz
Schwartz is a great choice. He must have been born with that smug look. Makes ya just wanna go up and slap him. Is he still DC for the Browns? I'm guessing yes as their D has been a bright spot.

Victory formation, victory formation, victory formation, punt... repeat.

I really don't give a darn who we play in the WC round. I'm sick of the Bears tbh.
It's a "pick your poison" choice. I'm sick of the Eagles too. I think the Packers have a better chance of beating the Bears. And one playoff victory would seem like a success with all the injured players.

Does throwing the game help prepare the Packers for a playoff game? Some might say rest everybody but the Packers get hurt in practice too or just getting off the bus so that tactic isn't going to help much.

Starting Clayton Tune is a joke. I'd rather see starters take a chance in getting hurt and try to right a sinking ship than take the easy way out. I don't see how 4 straight putrid games is going to seriously prepare the team.

Given how beat up the team is already, losing a few more guys to injury isn't going to change much at this point if the team isn't hungry enough to beat a division rival.

I'd give the Packers a better chance to win a playoff game going into the playoffs on high note rather than backing in playing 4 straight duds.

In reality it is hard to believe that we are in the playoffs at all especially since we are playing at our ebb for the season.

Seahawks looked like Seachickens on that first drive. 1st and goal on the one with a good back and OL and you try to throw. I could see us doing that but not a team like that. You pound, pound, pound.

Yes, I'd like to beat what has become good, except no more QB. So maybe play them on equal footing. Without either starting caliber QBs. Ours and Jacobs could use the rest. Probably Tom too. Other than that, let's win!

If The Pack beat The Bears in the Wild Card I am more hopeful against The Seahawks. The 49ers had our number for eons.

True, although our life with the 12th man was horrible until the last time there. Niners are weaker on the pass rush. But it is a huge challenge for any team going West.

Why are the Packers ALWAYS on the wrong side of these crazy stats? Kyle Shanahan is 1-38 in games in which he's trailed by 7 or more entering the 4th quarter. That one win? Against the Packers in the 2023 playoffs.
