I don't think it was a coincidence our run D improved when Wyatt came back a few weeks ago and struggled again today without him.
We didn't struggle in the 1st half. Even if players are less quality; maybe we need to platoon them in a bit.

Plus they put a choke on Nixon, worse case scenario should have been offsetting penalties.

The bares were chippy all through the first half. They stopped that crap in the second half (or I didn't notice it).

No. But what should be considered is that the Bears run game is one of the best in the game. We held Barkley in check and Gibbs twice. But we also got destroyed by Dowdle. If they move the ball like that we have to match them.

Interesting ancient statistic: The great Jim Brown, maybe the greatest player in pro football history, was 0-4 against Lombardi.

The Bears are one of the best run teams in the league, they were bound to win a couple drives. Perfection doesn’t exist in this league.
Tell that to the KC Chiefs right now.

You completely miss the point. We were tired in the 2nd galf because of lack of rest.
We were indeed gassed. And part of that was due to a 3 and out to open the second half followed by a quick TD drive and then another 3 and out. The Bear drives were not short quick ones especially in the second half. One was 17 plays.

Yes. That, of course, is true

They didn't have very much to be mad about in the 2nd half; they were slapping us silly most of the half.

I had chest pains the whole second half. Feeling a little better. I think it is soreness from scraping snow and ice off cars last night. Or it could be because of the Bears

chest pains are not to be taken lightly. It's could be from a heart attack

I don’t disregard that, it for sure was part of it but I also expected they’d break through a time or two even if Wyatt was here and all was good.

Or worse.

Early last year, I had chest pains and suffered an aortic dissection which I (barely) survived. I've been religiously watching my blood pressure since.

I now have 3 stents....got em in February. Chest pains are absolutely to never be taken lightly. Go to the ER, they will do an EKG, xrays and draw blood checkin out your troponin levels. If your levels are high/elevated, they will send you to the cath lab for an angiogram to make sure you have no blockages in your coronary arteries. Ok, milani?

1 player, ONE **** player goes down and we can't stop the run. If you need everyone available, then in my opinion, you are aren't very good. Next man up has, and will ALWAYS BE A THING.
I think we just have to give the bears run attack some credit. They're good.

Wyatt wouldve helped. But I seen some other names in his place. We have that new nose tackle being activated soon too possibly. He was picked up, and inactive a couple days later.

It is ridiculous. From what I heard Cowboy fans complained about that too. Parsons has to be the only big name defender who never gets a break from the zebras.
I mean, if they don't hook his neck he runs right by them making them look silly. Every down.

Unfortunately I think the bears finally found a QB. He is an elusive SOB and throws well on the run.
They'll probably trade him away for a 4th rounder once we stomp them in the playoffs a couple more years.

We knew going in without Kenny Clark that we would have to find a way. Our run D is not the worst in the league. Dowdle ate us up. But we have done OK with Gibbs twice and Barkley once. We have Justin Henry and Lamar coming up.
Bears got 138 yesterday for 4.3 average. Not nearly as bad as 281 vs. Philly. We actually had more per carry than they did. Hafley has done a very good job to say the least.

Anyone who remembers me the last 20 years back to ESPN board and yahoo board:) they know I'm a DT/NT fan, and 310 pound DEs. You know the blueprint being Reggie White/ Pickett/ gravedigger/ and Sean Jones. Cullen jenkens type DEs and Kris Jenkins type DTs. 4 big fast strong guys wrecking chit every down makes everyone's job on the defense easier..

You can't argue with parsons though. The guy not only splits double teams, making the OT slide right off, then chases down those fast guys after?!?! Like huh? How-wha? Honestly never seen nothing like it I don't think. Every down that dude is rushing like he is on fire. Like he just seen bigfoot. Which brings up a good question.

Who wins in a fight?
Parsons > bigfoot
?
