I guess the Panthers only allow 200 yards passing per game. So I have to assume that teams can run against them and aren't playing catch up either. It might not show we have a good O line for blocking but it could give us some confidence.

Similarly (and conversely) I’m not sure why every week we resort to being afraid of other teams? Every team risks losing any game they play. That shouldn’t infer that we should expect to play weak against our opponents. As far as scoring 30pts against the Panthers? theres absolutely no reason that should be some insurmountable feat. Heck we’re average near 28 points. We just scored 35 points and that was largely without our run game. If our Run game gets going this might be a runaway game. I think you are somewhat underestimating the Packers at some fear of being disappointed if they lose. I think the Packers Team deserves a better fan outlook than expecting to falter everytime we turnaround. I know you disagree and trust me I’m fully aware of the sector of fans with that theology and you guys have every right to have your opinion.. and I have every right to respectfully disagree. I guess I’m just super thankful that you don’t play for us! You’d envision us right into a Loss.
I think the skeptical fans are looking at the Packers performance more than a fear of being disappointed. Just 5 weeks ago they lost to the Clowns when they were a big favorites. They also struggled mightily to beat the Cardinals and didn't beat the Bengals convincingly. Two years ago, they were nearly beat by a 2-12 Panthers team.

Sometimes the Packets do beat up an inferior team like the Saints last year, but more often than not, when the Packers are big favorites, they struggle or get upset.

Yes. However we’ve all watched enough Packer games to understand that we take a little longer to get fully primed. We’re talking about Week 3 or week 4 which is the 1st Qtr of the season. Heck even K.C. Was inconsistent around that same timeframe. Should we write KC off or say they are unstable? Obviously not, all teams stumble some here n there. It’s not ultimately who KC is though. It’s not really who GB is either. Even our lone Loss took every last second of gameclock and several Packer mishaps to give it away. It happens. Heck the Jaguars beat KC In week 5 and they’re no model of perfection. LA just pounded Jacksonville into the dirt. This is Jacksonville since hosting KC (across 8 Quarters)

Punt, Punt, TD, Punt, missed FG,
Punt, Punt, TD, Punt, Punt, Punt, Punt, Punt, Missed FG, Downs, Downs, Downs, Punt, Punt, TD, Downs

Can you imagine if the Packers had 11 straight drives with ZERO points? There’d be a complete meltdown of biblical proportions. That’s who beat KC in Jacksonville. KC is no different than GB in that they can’t overcome an Offensive Turnover for points and 13 self inflicted Flags for -105 yards. KC essentially did exactly what GB was doing. Slop ball, hurting themselves with drive killers and letting an inferior team hand around.

Have to also look at who they have played. Atlanta and the Jets do not put a big passing numbers. Now the Bills do.

I think The Pack will take care of business. They already had the trap game it was against The Browns.

I really don't care if we blow them out or just squeak by as long as we get the W. At the end of the season nobody cares how you looked as long as you won. This isn't the NCAA.

This is a game in which we have to step up and give those young players the confidence that they can beat the league's best. The Bills definitely had to make a statement last week against the Panthers going into a game against Mahommes and company. Now we need to do the same in the game preceding the matchup against the SB champs.
The Panthers can be as crafty as a real panther. They can strike fast, and it can happen before you see it coming. The objective in this one is to get a big lead and continue to build on it to shut out any possibility of them mounting a comeback. It's all going to part of the game plan that the Packers bring to the table. I think they'll get an early jump, but one turnover can upset that plan. Then there's the issue of dumb penalties that negate big plays. We've had too many of them so far this year.

I like the look of the leather helmet. A team in college ( Illinois ) did it last year.

It looks a whole lot better than doing this plain brown one again, when they did throwback jerseys from the same era (1920's)

Carolina was fully b*the slapped last week 40-9 by the Bills(?)... and as watch hilights of that game, I gurgled a little because I knew full well that they probably had a LONG week of practice. On the flipside, I sure hope that Matt kept their focus after a decent win last week.... they're not a bad team - not as bad as people seem to think. I'm becoming a 1-pt win advocate - I'll take them for now.

Nah, did you see Pittsburgh's last week? Fugly is an understatement.
Why does the NFL do this? There must be money it for them. I would never buy that crap. Are there so many people that do?

I think the Bills are a very good team that played a mediocre at best Dalton. Then once they get up in scoring they can pin their ears back and go full throttle after the QB. Similar with the Bills Offense they could just be aggressive.
Meaning the score doesn’t fully reflect the quality of both teams. That said, the Packers are easily a Top 5-10 Pass Rush team. This will force some extra negative plays through disruption of our front 7 and many shorter throws. GB is tied at #1 in yards per play for good reason. Our DL with Wyatt is arguably Top 5. Carolina MUST try to replicate The Browns with dinky dunk and get that ball out super fast.

In addition Carolina MUST get their Running game going. They rely heavily on that aspect to win games. Problem is this feeds into the Packers strength. We might even look flawed for a Quarter, but once our O starts scoring it becomes hard for opponents to stick with the Run game. It’s like a double edge sword.

I have no idea what is going to happen in this game. But I expect us to have a pass rush, which will help the pass D and I expect us to do well against the run. I also expect us to move the ball consistently and put up a bunch of points. I think we'll have a good mix of pass and run.

I just saw the uniforms. Not as bad as I thought. Not that I'd buy one. I hope they never change from the Green and Yellow.

Screw his birthday Loved played like that brown stinky stuff that comes out his *** end. That throw has only been successfully completed ONCE in league history and it was 3 years before you were born son! You're lucky it wasn't your 2nd INT. 5 deep balls you completed 1. Expected is 2. 273 yards is good...26-37 is also good...the rest brings you to a solid D performance

O-Line: I've been complaining about this for WEEKS. Lucas Butkus is the problem...can we PLEASE bring back James Campen? Can McCarren do the job? Let's be honest Mandarich would be an upgrade at this position coach

LaFleur: It's called a winning percentage kid...you're 5-4...if it ain't a win in Titletown it's a LOSS...there are no ties here.

Studs

Pass Defense seemed fairly stout today for about 58 minutes I wish we could've gotten 60 but solid B performance

Orzech didn't screw up anything today either

Long story short at this point....I HATE watching this team play to it's opponent cause we keep getting shell shocked when these teams have a good day. We should be able to beat good teams by 10 points...GREAT teams by 1-7 points...and the horrible teams (Cleveland, Arizona, Carolina) by 40 this team needs to start dropping 60s on people, we have the talent, we allegedly have the scheme and players both on offense and defense...I WANT RESULTS!

Letting Dowdle run for 20 when it is 2nd and 10 on their side of the field in the 2 minute is inexcusable. Were they playing for a Hail Mary? Get up on that line!

The main problem other than losing your best player for the season is do you trust MLF to change the culture of the franchise after nearly 7 seasons? Aside from his erratic play calling, the team loses focus and can't ever seem to put together more than 20 or 30minutes of good football before they just R-E-L-A-X!

Exactly. Leadership, if it does not come on the sideline, has to come from other players. And other than McManus and McKinney the team is too young.

Another bad decision has been to give Savion Williams way too much playing time as a rookie. Even if he isn't the first read, every time he gets targeted, a better player is left out. I don't see why with Kraft, Doubs Watson, Golden and Heath, Williams is getting much playing time. His fumble was devastating but I don't blame him that much. He's a rookie and shouldn't be in there in the first place.
