Can’t believe with :17 sec left. Chicago had the ball at their Chi42 needing a FG to beat the Bengals. Threw a 50+ TD pass. Squeezed out a W at the last second

Colts lost

Detroit lost

Packers lost

Big upset weekend

Really needed that win. The 2nd half of this season is tougher than the 1st. 5 Division games, Philly, Denver, Baltimore acct for 8 of 9 games ( @Giants is the 9th game) going to be tough, gotta play better moving forward.
This was discouraging for a young team. The division is close. I still think the team that will come through at the end is Detroit. They have the experience and a very tough coach.

They had a good game plan. They executed most of that plan. They beat us at the line of scrimmage. They protected their young QB. The Packers did not prepare for Dowdle and they did not stop the elusiveness of Bryce. The Packers committed too many penalties.
If you recall I said Carolina MUST beat us on the ground. They needed to chew the clock and win the turnover battle. They hammered us on the ground

GB had THREE possessions across the entire 1st Half!

I’m not sure why. The Packers routinely start very slow. These are our last 6 game starts in the first half.

6,7,6,10,13,3

In our first 2 contests we started fast
17, 14. Since week 2 we have been lackluster across the first Half. Can’t win games being conservative scoring 7.5 points average across a Half a game. Just not going to Win many ballgames with that approach.

I think some of us need you to point out the positives we should keep in mind that portend better play/coaching anytime soon.
I've just seen too many games like this that did not reflect the team. Every team tends to lay an egg or two every year. Ultimately, this came down to a difficult FG miss into the wind and a BAD decision not to kick a short FG in the 4th. Even with Kraft getting hurt and Wicks being out, the team itself did enough that they should have won.

The team could not execute at the most crucial times today. The offense, the defense, and the kicker. Their offense put it in the end zone twice. We could not. Their D stopped us on downs. Ours could not. Their kicker hit the long money one. Ours missed a shorter one at halftime.
The sad part is that it was at home against an average team.
In what should be "Packer weather!"

Only good thing is we have misery company. The Vikings beat up on Detroit and we’re still first in the North. Not much consolation, but this would’ve been far worse had Detroit Won big.

MLF had the #1 seed and the only bye in the conference twice, and couldn't get to the Super Bowl.
We also had a QB with tunnel vision who routinely refused to throw to open guys late in playoff games who was obsessed with looking for his security blanket. Rodgers was a terrible playoff QB in all honesty.

I sincerely hope the team gets their crap together because they HAVE lost two absolutely bad games in the browns and panthers and should’ve lost to Dallas.

Always tough to lose. However if you’re going to lose do it in a low scoring game and in the closing seconds. Sometimes it’s just a matter of who has the ball last. I believe this was one of those games. We got humbled, but not like it was 35-13 either. This was 13-13 with :01 left. Very similar to our Cleveland game. 2 losses by a total of 6 points on a pair of walk off FG’s.

I'm starting to think there is no home team advantage. Not for us anyway. Especially in bad weather
I think weather isn't as big of an advantage in this league as people make it to be, especially cool weather. I think hot, humid weather is more of an advantage for a home team, or in Denver where they have the elevation they are used to.

Not about giving up rather, about an offense and defense that makes too many mistakes, too many penalties, too few big plays. Think back to pre-season and the Jenkins saga (more money, playing center), the guy and entire line should leave everyone with a bad feeling in their stomach. The line is not good, too many penalties, terrible pass blocking today (how many times did the LB or DB come up the middle and Jenkins was blocking left or right? Everyone acted like they were sleep walking, won't say much about Love as there are too many that think he is elite, not IMO. The D could not get Young down and their DL were blown out by the Panthers OL- what did Dowdle get 130-140 today? Overall, a poor performance that was not a surprise really, this team laid an egg against the Browns as well and should have beaten Dallas. Not sure GB is as good as we and others think, not giving up but pause to consider if they are who fans hoped they would be. Finally LeFleur did not call a great game but hard to tell considering how the O played.

Imo if you are going to lose I’d prefer a good low scoring D game. I’d hate to allow 30-40 points in a loss. In these games it was some poor decisions and missed FG’s that resulted in losses In our losses our Defense allowed 16 points and 13 points. I don’t care how they got there, that type D points allowed is still commendable against almost any opponent.

Our Offense HAS to be better than that, that’s unacceptable levels of non execution. We lost both games at :00 and :00 on a 57 yard and 49 yard walk off. These were VERY close Losses. A few tweaks and they are Wins and we’d be mildly concerned but not much more. I have a very hard time saying our Defense is at fault when we they had allowed 10 points and 13 points until the last 50+ yard FG’s.

Far worse is we just lost our Star TE for the season. Tore his ACL just confirmed.

Id highly recommend Brian work a trade for a TE or CB

Watch and compare the Buffalo Bills O vs. GB O, just sayin... or maybe, the Bears O (47 vs. Bengals) vs. GB.... Folks, the games against the Bears may be among the toughest coming.

LOL. No, he wouldn't. He wouldn't have kicked that FG at all. Have you even watched the Lions other than when the Packers play them? This is exactly how he lost the NFCC to the 49ers 2 years ago.
More at stake then. You are on the road against the best team in the conference. We were up against a very average Carolina team at home with a defense that only gave up 13 points until then. And there was still plenty of time. Now if the Lions have LaPorta, St.Brown, a lineman, and Montgomery unable to be on the field even Campbell knows he still can kick the FG, get a stop, and win the game.
