Another bad decision has been to give Savion Williams way too much playing time as a rookie. Even if he isn't the first read, every time he gets targeted, a better player is left out. I don't see why with Kraft, Doubs Watson, Golden and Heath, Williams is getting much playing time. His fumble was devastating but I don't blame him that much. He's a rookie and shouldn't be in there in the first place.
I honestly believe he was another hopefully gem in the rough pick from LaFleur. And he gives his guy chances deserved or not

If this were a case of desperately having to get a lot of reps then yes. As talented as Randall Cobb was as a rookie the Packers did not give him that many plays on the field unless the game was in the bag. The vets got the passes. He was a return man and MM found ways to develop him as needed.

Kraft & Golden went down, yesterday. Who should've gotten more snaps? Wicks could possibly return this week, but not a lot of healthy receivers to play right now. :(

I think he was focusing on the fumble on the first drive BEFORE Kraft and Golden went out.

I like us with Heath, Doubs and Watson. Hopefully Golden is ok and Wicks will be back sooner than later. Musgrave can be better than many think. So right now I'd say we are good. Now if LaFleur will only call his semi screen 2 times per game and no more. Our receivers are built for better things imho.

For myself it’s this. Yet also IF you’re going to do those plays please dear lorty don’t do it on 3rd n 3 at the opp30 yardline on the edge of FG range (on windy days). I’d rather gain 1-2 yards there it gives us options.

The Packers really should be treating anything past the opponent 45 yard line on 3rd n short as TWO tries if it’s within 3 yards. Why do we throw 28 yards there or run a play that has a high ratio of negative outcomes. We should call it the “fumble negative NY BOZO screen”. Just call it what it truly is and has been for years now. Why not try a risky Double reverse like -12 yards behind the LOS?

Makes absolute nonsense and it’s often applied at the worst possible timing. In particular for a team that doesn’t block well. Don’t let #16 block on that until he’s been through a course on “how to overcome your obvious lack of effort” He allowed a D to run right by him nearly untouched. With friends like him our RBs don’t need enemies.

His big fumble was in the first quarter before those injuries.

Sometimes it's best to reduce the playbook instead of putting guys in there that aren't ready. If the Packers can't find enough receivers, then that magnifies even more, the mistakes and turnovers caused by guys that shouldn't be in there.

Why isn't Heath getting more snaps? He looks like he's 6'3-6'4 about 215...prototype size...catches everything...what am I missing?
