While Love does throw off his back foot, it isn't a consistent bad habit. He makes a lot of throws with better mechanics but sometimes regresses much like Favre did. Both Love and Favre have big arms so they sometimes made a great throw, even when mechanics were bad.

Love has played too good too often for the Packers offensive woes to be due to anything less than mostly bad play calling.
I think a crash is likely the cause of several variables coming together simultaneously. Our OL seems to be missing someone weekly. Either that or players not suiting up 100% healthy. I also believe that losing Reed and now layering that with Kraft was 2 big blows. Although I do think we will adjust over time, 1 week of practice didn’t allow that. We have to remember that in 2024, that pair were our 2 highest producers. Very few teams if any will lose their best 2 Receiving options and not lose a beat. It’s not an excuse it’s a fact. That said I do believe each week we will gradually improve in that department.

Thirdly is the playcalling. No Offense would dare run a 4th n 1 with the opponent verbally calling out the play beforehand. It’s blatantly obvious we’re now predictable level. Also our decisions some key in down and distance and some key clock management has been suspect. It’s not regular but it’s still problematic level. Even MLF has openly admitted this in recent years.

Fourthly is disciplinary related. Of 22 teams playing 9 games we are the 6th highest penalized Offense. That’s not an area you want to try to lead the NFL. That puts us at roughly the lower 27%. That needs to be addressed on a weekly basis to get the ship righted before we sink. Batten down the Hatches..she’s listing Port side. Get ‘er Righted

I disagree. He doesn’t do it frequently but he does it often enough that I yell at him. (Like he can hear me).

My grump is how often he does it when he doesn’t have to, making routine throws harder than they need to be.

He doesn’t have the generational arm talent that Favre and Rodgers did at their peak, just a normal strong arm.

Overly simplified with a dash of false dichotomy thrown in for good measure.

Play calling doesn’t make receivers drop balls that hit them in the hands. Play calling doesn’t make Banks fall flat on his face getting up to the second level.

Every part of the offense should be scrutinized, but I would but MLF and Love no higher than 3rd on the problem tier.

The problem is that even if the Packers 'right the ship' they will follow any success with complacency. They played two good games to start the season and then stunk it up against the Browns. The Packers played 30 good minutes against the Steelers and then followed that with a stinker against the Panthers. The team is undisciplined and unfocused. That's a polite way to say their soft.

Under the current conditions we need to play the 32nd ranked defense.
