...I know they didn't and I'm not trying to bring any negative vibes here. I think it's great they won and I love the matchup in the Super Bowl.
But listening to Bears fans before and after is amusing. They were sure they would beat the Packers...and now, I'd say 60-80% of fans are just crucifying Cutler. Some aren't giving the Packers credit saying they "played very average" to win.
So if the Packers would have lost, would the grievances include...Rodgers not playing a great game...the defense not getting to Hanie enough...MM with bad playcalling in the 3rd quarter...
I know it's probably not worth getting into. I know that I still go back on games the Saints won and wonder if it went the other way. It's one way I can reflect on things and be more thankful.
I was hoping at 14-0 the packers would just slay the bears, but they did let them come back, especially against a 3rd string quarterback.
On a side note, I think the Bears would have been slaughtered by the Steelers in the SB had they found a way to win that game. the pack should make it a very good game.
