Understanding the Draft and Free Agency

If these work for every team in the NFL, why are some teams coming up loses for so many years.

For example:
The Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals , Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angels Chargers,
just to name a few.

These are all great teams that just can't get a winning record going or come close to the play offs.

Bad management = bad draft/trade = bad team.

These are all great teams that just can't get a winning record going or come close to the play offs.

The Browns have just poorly managed their draft picks. But there is talent there. I think you see the start of something good this season from them. If not playoffs they will push for second in that division behind the Steelers and a wild card spot.

Chargers have been rebuilding for awhile and the addition of Gus Bradley last season as their DC made a real push in that defense.

The Bengals had 5 straight seasons of playoff appearances from 2011 through 2015. Not sure how that isn't coming close to a winning record or playoffs?

The Chiefs are yet to have a losing season under Andy Reid? Also not sure what you are talking about there?
