I went to our local Beer distributor today to get a 6 pack of Guinness. Turns out the 6 pack was priced at 14 dollars. 
The case of Guinness was 30 dollars. So...in the extreme interest of frugality.......

Over here 6 bottles of Guinness ( à 0,33l) are around 6 euros (7 USD), I assume your six-packs contains larger bottles or cans?
Nah, the store just wants to make a little more profit on them. Most people around here wouldn't pony up for a whole case. But they don't know me.

Well he was quite a totalitarian and Ireland was a thorn in the side with Britain at the time so he would probably do what ever it took to keep them under control.

Long overdue vacation. Had some great times already and ready for more. I'm certainly ready to come back for Russia World Cup, assuming my team actually makes it.

Superb! Gonna definitely go back and get another 6 pack. Most DuClaw beers are very nice.
It's my 60th birthday on Sunday, so my daughter just gave me a bottle of Johnny Walker Red, while her husband is preparing Corn on the cob and Alaskan King crab. Gonna enjoy being 60!
