Packers announced big $$$$ will be spent on the team this off season in the draft and FA, with many players already being talked about not coming back or resigned.

But no one like to use the term "rebuilding"

First, the obligatory - link?

Next, there isn't a whole lot to manage as far as spending in the draft unless they package everything for a few at the top, and even then, it's not up to the team as far as spending.

Next, 'rebuilding' is as subjective a term as there is in discussing next year's team.

Finally, even if there is a blanket statement about big bucks for free agents, those guys have to (1) be available and (2) want to take the Packer offer.

I don’t think the Packers are in “rebuild mode”. More like major tune up. And yeah, it’s fine to have a lot of cap space and draft picks, but that means nothing if the decisions aren’t sound, if the players are too expensive, or if the drafting stinks as it did in TT’s last three years. Anyway first things first. Get a solid HC and let him build the staff and system he wants. That will then inform Gluten’s decisions in FA and the draft. Bottom line - there’s a lot of work ahead at 1265.

Didn't really say that..

Asked by Rob Demovsky of ESPN about using free agency this offseason, Gutekunst said the Packers could be big players on the open market.

“We’re going to scout the players and if we think that player can help us, we won’t be afraid to spend the money we need to,” Gutekunst said
.

The last time the Packers lost every road game was 1958. Something needs rebuilt.
Maybe we'll beat the Jets though.

Jesus that long?

Not even the Dark ages teams managed such a feat...
