apparently he needs more practice covering kick offs ....I wonder how much of that he will get on the practice squad.

Mike Daniels echoing my sentiments from early in the week, wants the team to play "angry" and "pissed off".

This team has liked fire ever since Favre left, but I think that has more to do with McCarthy than anything else. Mark my words...Daniels will be a future coach in the NFL and I hope like crazy it's with the Packers.

Letroy Guion (not injury related), T.J. Lang, Clay Matthews, Damarious Randall and JC Tretter didn't practice yesterday. Randall Cobb, Jared Cook, Micah Hyde (shoulder), Quinten Rollins and Janes Starks were limited participants.

It's also an away game for the Pack so that doesn't give much hope they could win.

While the Packers have only 1 road victory (Jacksonville) in 2016, they have pretty much been a .500 team on the road over the last 7 years (except for 2011 when they were 7-1), so maybe they are finally due. :D

Plus, if you can't beat the Colts at home, maybe the road is the place you need to clear your head and buckle down to playing some good football.

Remember when they were a good dome team?
They couldn't get it done in Atlanta which they used to own.

Maybe you have more faith than I do at this point.
But the odds are against or even for them and I wish the odds were more in favor when in the good ol' days, we knew which Packers team would show up.

Before they were Titans in Tennessee they were for the first 36 years of their existence the Houston Oilers.

http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com/nfl/tenhou/houoilers.html

One of the original franchises of the American Football League the Oilers won the first two AFL titles and played in four championship games during the league's ten year run. They had an outside chance of meeting the Packers in Super Bowl II as they were in the AFL title game that season, but were crushed by the Raiders 41-7.

After the merger the Packers played the Oilers 6 times starting in 1972 and broke even with them at 3-3 before their relocation to Tennessee.

The Packers currently trail in the all-time with the Oiles/Titans 5-6. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/game_query.cgi?tm1=gnb&tm2=oti&yr=all

The Falcons are a better team than the Titans though. I'm optimistic the Packers are going to win at Tennessee.

Seeing that the next 2 games after Sunday are also on the road and against better teams than the Titans, this is a huge game if the Packers want to start making something out of the 2016 Season, as well as possibly save some jobs at the end of the season. I honestly don't see the Packers coming back to Lambeau in December sitting at 7-4. Then again, I didn't see them ever losing to the Colts. I also don't see them recovering if they fall to 4-7. If there was ever a time to get some momentum, this might be our last good opportunity, not to mention that I am getting tired of reading the "Monday morning excuses" and talking about what needs to be fixed in GB to return to the team they once were. After Sunday, that road back to the top gets even steeper with a loss.

Preach, my brother. Let's make the Packers great again.

Clay Matthews will miss his third consecutive game because of a hamstring injury Sunday vs. the Titans.

Packers rule out Clay Matthews, Damarious Randall and JC Tretter for Sunday's game at Titans. Jared Cook listed as doubtful while Micah Hyde and James Starks are questionable.

He's so overrated. Other teams don't even fear him anymore. He should be traded

I don't think it would be smart to trade Matthews, especially considering he's only one of two outside linebackers under contract for next season. The Packers should talk to him about renegotiating his contract though resulting in a lower cap hit.

The Packers have signed TE Beau Sandland to the practice squad and released RB Brandon Burks from it. Sandland was drafted in the seventh round of this year's draft by the Panthers.

I agree. Cause he's definitely not worth $15.2 mil next year. Weird how as soon as they started testing for HGH he can't seem to stay healthy and has declined significantly

Matthews missed several games before the league tested for HGH as well.

Hard not to like Matthews when he is actually on the field, but given his age, health, drop in productivity and his cap number ($15.2M in 2017 and $11.4M in 2018), I would be more then fine seeing him traded, if the price was right. What is that price? That is the million dollar + question.

No way I see him agreeing to that.
Him being one of only two OLB's under contract for next season doesn't work for me as a good reason to keep him around at his cap number and declining productivity.
Get rid of the dead weight, and use all available means to get other OLB's.
