I'll be a little eclectic here with my Spirits.

1. Pappy an Winkle 23 year old Bourbon. Extremely hard to find and expensive but the very best I've ever had.

2. Russian Standardt Vodka - Smooth, just like my Russian girlfriends

3. Allborg Akvavit (or any Akvavit). I love all Akvavit

Sounds interesting ! I assume they are also difficult to buy in UK if you're not living in your area or do you think there's a slight chance that I might get one of these somewhere at one of the grocery chains like Sainsbury's, Tesco, ASDA etc ?

Bathams can only be bought bottled from the brewery, or there is like two 'off licences' that sell it to my knowledge, in 12 packs.
I've never seen Enville Ale bottled anywhere.
Sadlers Thin Ice is sold in the Tesco's and Asda's around here, but again that may only be a local thing, not sure they'd be available in those stores nationally.

Is the "nip" like a shot glass?

Darts and vodka... what could go wrong with that plan? :D:laugh:

I knew i'd recognised that place, Belbroughton isnt it. Popped in there a couple of years back when on the way back from Stourport, only had the one in there, but a nice little place.

Yep, that the one. Great friendly atmosphere

Does it have a minty flavour?

I just had a inbuilt hatred against beers having flavours...coffee, chocolate, mint or any fruits. The new Craft market seem be getting more skewed to these flavours unfortunately.

No. The minty flavor was well subdued. This beer was just a strong porter with just a barely noticeable mint flavor.

Yuengling is my "go to" beer that doesn't cost a million dollars. I do enjoy all sorts of beer though. Had some Lagunitas Sucks this week, was incredible.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes:tup:

Nice, he seems to be a big Yuengling Lager fan? ;)
But wait, what's this strange thing he is wearing around his neck?
However, Happy Birthday @Itkovian !

Yuengling, a Pennsylvania brewery, claims to be the oldest brewery in America. When I hosted German Pastors for a conference here in Lancaster, I asked them what beer they wanted me to stock. They said they wanted Yuengling. LOL!
