Why would they rush to bring him back after Harvisik last week. This field goal is game changing and game costing
McManus and Rich worked out before to see if okay….this is on them.

MLF would have trusted their judgement…

Like I posted earlier in the thread, if/when the Steelers quit shooting themselves in the foot with silly penalties, they have the ability to move the ball at will.

Yep, should have used Luke. Decision backfired. Cost us 6 and with the first miss the Steelers were in FG range right away. So 9 points. So if we lose the game by 1 or 2 scores that is it.

crazy thing is we are moving the ball quite well…dropped Kraft ball and missed field goal stalled and were big swings…

Get a stop out of the half and start back. Game is far from over

Very disappointing half, for offense, defense, and special teams. One good drive- that's it.

We're lucky to be down only 9

Im not a fire this guy kind of guy, but maybe time to move on from Rich if they misread this. 4 ST gaffes. 2 missed FG, 1 muff, 1 penalty.
I’ve said it is time minimum to cut him as ST or assistant head coach. You have to minimum strip one…I’d not be against both honestly

The O starts too slow. It’s like we score once and go into a shell. We run up the middle on 2nd n 10 for 1.5 yards. It’s very vanilla like it’s Preseason. This opponent is taking this game seriously their Offense is playing with hair on fire. We’re just kinda going through motions and that doesn’t work against good teams.

The frustration with this team is high every game, a close game against Ariz., tie with Dallas (who were blasted by Denver today). For a team with supposed high level offense where is it, OL is fair, WR are not getting open but of course you have to have time to throw the ball and make the catch. Def. not sure what to say, no one is executing from players to coaches. Hurrah for AR, the guy is back and love his ability to make plays at 40.

Eh cost us 3, I don’t think you can assume or expect perfection out beyond 50

Wowowowow missed a 44 yarder?
Next week Luke will be kicking. McManus will be on the shelf for several games. We may have to put him on IR. Instead of a 54 we got him a 44. He never missed 2 in one game since he came to us.
Oh well just keep playing. Try to get TDs instead.

Damn, where's Havrisik? This game has kind of a crappy feel to it, but we could have been within a touchdown there. And the Steelers get the ball to start the half. Did you see Rodgers smirk there when he missed the FG?
Embarrassing.

A lot is hinging on the first drive of the 2nd half.

3 and out and a score, it's a sub FG game. Allow the Steelers to drive down for 7, and it's a massive uphill battle.

They ran up the middle with Savion, too

I’ll say it again, the Packers are my favorite NFL team, but they have been a really hard team to watch the past 6-7 years. The inconsistency has never gone away, and in most cases regardless of the competition. I also don’t think it has helped that the coaching staff has been overrated in my opinion, as well as those acquiring the talent.

It’s like taking a ********* out time after time, but never getting any action in at the end of the night. Then it really doesn’t matter now does it - lol

Packers outside run defense is non-existent. I'd just keep running outside if I'm the Steelers.

0 third down conversions, 1 good drive, 2 missed FG's, we need to fix some things or this may be a disappointing year. I don't think this is a bad team, but definitely NOT looking like a true threat at this time.

I think you like many forget how hard it is to win games…if you think they’re tough to watch…I’d recommend not trying to be a fan of literally nearly any other team in a span of six years

I've said it before... I like Matt, I think he's a high character guy overall and on the whole is still one of the better coaches in the league, but at the end of the day I am just convinced he is not the guy who is ever going to be making the tough decisions. He has a lot of good leadership qualities IMO but he would almost always sooner fall on his own sword than make a hard call regarding players or personnel...and I think that is one of the factors that is always going to hold him back until he figures it out
