No, there is a Marienthal in Hamburg. It's a northeastern district of Hamburg. But I don't think that he signed his contract there. HSV is having a training camp in a small town called Harsewinkel these days.
And there is a district that is called Marienfeld, without -e . I'm pretty sure thats where Gregoritsch signed the

The same guy, Rupert Murdoch, owns Sky and FOX. Here's an interesting radio interview with Susie Schaaf. I like her writing. She covers Bayern in a blog and she used to write for ESPN. I don't know if she still does. The radio program is an hour long. So you might want to listen to it while you are working around the house.

Agreed. I liked the old names for stadiums. At least Lambeau Field is still Lambeau field. In Philly we had Shibe Park, Connie Mack stadium (my brother took me to games there) and then Veterans stadium. All respectable names honoring someone. Then they imploded the Vet and the new stadium was named "Lincoln Financial Field"; uggghhhh..

Fully agree. In this case the sponsor pays to bring back the old name.
I grew up with "Volksparkstadion". But then we had three different names since 2001... AOL Arena, HSH Arena
and Imtech Arena........
