On negative side PK is probably our biggest ? That said we do have a 2025 returning player + a dynamic young leg in the room. It’s the hardest position to predict so most volatile imo. We have to get away from losing games to makeable FG or XPA

KR/PR is our most probable area of improvement. Aside from several fumbles early in career Skyy Moore is a CLEAR upgrade over our experimenting in 2025. It could even be our biggest improvement if we get some 2024 Nixon like returns. Those become huge in closer games.

It’s all about Health and maybe 1 or 2 young players stepping on stage. Yet we do have a more robust Roster feel if we take some injuries. We also have $ and plenty of Day 3 picks to go trade for another Starter level player if needed

And it is most critical. Think of how many games we have played since Crosby left in which the kicker impacted the outcome whether for victory or defeat. After watching us beat the Steelers last season with Rodgers as the opponent I realized that the Pittsburgh weapon was not #12. It was a guy named Boswell shooting free throws from over 50 yards with his eyes closed. I said that I wished we had a guy like this.

Yes. Before our K woes was our Punting and also blocking. We literally gave away a low scoring game to SF49ers on a blocked Punt. If we recall that mess was troubling us all season. So much so, that several posters predicted it would be our demise and that became a reality. An instant 7 point blocked punt TD in a low score game was the Kiss of Death to the 2021 season. That happened just like usual with just 4 min of gameclock left. If we get that Punt off really good chance either hold them to 3 pts or turnover on downs with 2.5 min left and 10-3 or 10-6. Worse case is they Score a TD and we’d have the ball last in a Tie game with a 1 minute bonus possession.

The historical woes of our playoff history. I would rather get blown out like Atlanta or SF did to us once rather than fall on our face.

Well we find new and improved ways to lose! :tdown:We either lose close in Playoffs
Seattle, 49ers 3X, Bears, Cardinals or we just get humiliated Giants, Atlanta, 49ers 2X etc.
Rodgers lost to Arizona 2X in OT!

We are terrible in close games. We are 1-5 in OT playoff games since our 1996 SB.

In 1 score playoff games since 1996
We have a 5-13 record.

Those stats are disturbing to say the least. It doesn't reflect on the players as much as it does the coaching. It kind of fortifies one of the things so many of us believe, that the Packers go into a prevent game to hold a lead when they should still be pedal to the metal trying to put points on the board, and make big plays on defense.

History has shown they aren't capable of restarting the engine to be aggressive in a game, after they shut it down. That's bothered me for some time.

You expect push back from the other side but you have to pour it on when you can.

Absolutely. From what I've seen, a 2 TD lead at the 2 minute warning, even if you have the ball, is not a guaranteed win. I've watched too many games turn on a dime and a win snatched away. Prime example, the second game against the Bears this past season. Gawd! That was a total meltdown.
