If you will watch the video of "the interception" from last night's game you may notice that Bernard Berrian #87 was wide open at the 30 yard line and at the sideline, right in front of Farve, but BF decided to throw across his body down the middle of the field in coverage to Rice (I think).

Watch the video filmed from behind the Vikings line of scrimmage and you will see what I mean. If he completes that pass Berrian runs out of bounds at about the 28 yard line, setting up a 45 yard field goal, which, according to Joe Buck (hehehehe) would have been a chp shot for Longwell.

Reminds me of the '07 playoff game against the Giants when, in overtime, Ryan Grant was open in the middle of the field, for a first down and BF lobbed the lame duck that was picked off. He never seems to learn from his mistakes.

Oh well, just a thought to share.

49ers and their fans have "The Catch" of Joe Montana throwing to Dwight Clark with the game winning TD against Dallas in a Championship game.
Saint and their fans now have The Interception.

And that is what Burnt Face is going to be remembered as.
Not all the greatness and good stats.
But how he has failed time and again.
He is nowhere near in the same caliber as Starr, Elway, Montana etc. Those guys will be remembered for SB wins.
Fart will be remembered for losses.
He is way way way overated.
He sucks. He's a loser. He's a failure.

Someone else pointed out that every last throw Burp has done for every team has been an INT.
Some things just never change and aren't meant to.

He didn't even need to pass it. He even admitted in his post-game press conference that he should have just ran it for at least 10 yards, putting the ball around the 30 somewhere.

He didn't "lobbied" the ball.

He just didn't have the arm strenght and the foot to make it work, and he thought he could do it anyway.

He thought he was 25 with a good foot in that play.

Yep, What is wrong with him in clutch situations. He reverts to a stumbledoofus and cost his team a chance at winning.

Did people hear BF saying in the post-game conference that he didn't know how many yards he needed? Seems like a pretty critical thing to know especially since there was a timeout called right before.

I watched the play over again and Berrian was open on the sideline and he did have an option of running for at least 5 yards. Easy to say when it's a replay though.

And when your a legendary QB who's been playing for 16 years and in these types of situations before.
Face it.
Burnt Fart is way way way overated and he's as dumb as a box of rocks.
Wait. I take that back.
The box of rocks is smarter.

Berrian was open. Shiancoe would have been open on the corner route he was running. Favre would have gotten at least five yards running.
