Actually, you're wrong, don't jump the on the bus that the media offered to you. Coach Lovie is the one who took him out and wouldn't let him back in. Also what good is a quaterback who cant plant his back foot to throw? Hanie said Cutler was also talking to him after each drive but you didn't see it because the media didn't show you that.
Cutler actually suffered a Grade II MCL tear in his knee. Picture a thick rope. Then think about what would happen if that rope were pulled so hard that the fibers stretched and began to tear. Now imagine that rope is inside your knee.
Yep, that would hurt.
I watched the game and I didn't see it, so no it's not just the media, can't blame it on them. They showed Cutler on the sidelines over and over doing nothing but sitting there.
When you see Drew Brees on the sidelines, he's always looking at pictures, got something in his hands trying to do something to improve. As does Rodgers, and Peyton Manning.
Romo came back into a game with a punctured lung and cracked rib, cause he wanted to win. Just like Steve Young who returned to a game after a concussion and won it. I can't buy the Cutler stories for defense at one bit after the things I've seen. Did you see how bad the Saints tore Favre's ankle and knee up in the championship game? He came right back cause he was their only chance in hell of winning. It's not really just about being tough, it's more of wanting to win. You couldn't bench Steve Young, even when he was rattled up he still would get back out there if he could.
