Honestly Dallas might give us a somewhat similar picture of what we could've expected out of the Bears if they had had Caleb today.
Both have - *on paper* - two of the strongest offenses in the league. Dynamic QB, solid skill position players, and both have a couple of noticeable strengths and weaknesses in defense....
But the big difference is that - again at least on paper - Chicago's defense SHOULD be a more difficult matchup for us. Going into today they had a mediocre run defense but elite pass defense, which of course matches up poorly for us as our run game stinks anyways so they can sell out for the pass. In theory of course
Dallas on the other hand, they have a decent rush defense but their pass defense is honest to goodness one of the worst I've ever seen in my life. They are currently allowing 0.382 EPA per passing play.
For comparison, for the 2025 regular season the Jets were last in the league in defensive pass EPA and theirs was 0.291 allowed per play. 2024's worst was the Jaguars at 0.241, and 2023 was the Commanders at 0.199. So in other words, think of the worst pass defense you've seen in the last three years; Dallas' pass defense is currently like 1.5x worse than that.
