Did you see Craig Burley's response on ESPNFC? Something to the effect of "Ok then, Germany will send over their C-team which just beat the top team in your group at the Confed Cup."

Burley is a bit of a muppet but he does come up with some good stuff now and again.

Thats hard to understand how a team like USA isn‘t able to grab at least that needed point to qualify against trinidad & Tobago.
Its not as if it had been an away game against Brazil, Chile or Argentina.
I still believe that the US team can do better than that but I wonder if Arenas was the right decision after having fired Klinsmann prematurely?
When was the last time they didnt qualify?

For a country where (Soccer - Football) isn't the number one sport they have a very good qualifying record, think Mexico 86 was their last non apperance at a World Cup.
