This was one of the greatest, if not the greatest game a q/b played in the SB

It was very good, but I can think of a few that top it.

Montana against the Broncos in 1989.
Williams against those Broncos in 1987 I believe.
Steve Young against the Chargers in 1994
Troy Aikman against the Bills in 1992.

Just a few off the top of my head.

Though, perhaps, if you take away the drops it would have trumped all.

Probably top 10, but I think Trent is a little caught up in the moment. Those Super Bowls Kurt Warner played he was amazing...sad for him those 2 pick 6's he threw cost him arguably 3 championships.

This SB was good, but Steve Young in SB XXIX was unbelievable. Throwing 6 touchdown passes is hard enough to do in the regular season, and Young did that in the biggest game of the season. Doug Williams also gets my respect for throwing 5 TD passes in a quarter in SB XXII.

Those were great games, but were they under so much pressure? Losing a long-time receiver in the first half, having little run game to back him up, in a close game? Sure, Steve Young's 6 TDs is unbelievable, and maybe Kurt Warner's XXXIV and Tom Brady's XXXVIII are better. Still, it has to be ranked highly up there.

Wasn't Phil Simms 20 or 21 of 22 in a SB? Not flashy, but that was a hell of a game.

Funny you said Young...He said that besides 2 passes in Chicago, he saw one if not the best q/b performances in the playoffs

For the playoffs Rodgers has been off the hook!! If you consider the SB a road game, doesn't that mean Rodgers has already passed Farve as far as wins on the road?
