Well, obviously, it's a rant, and he didn't have the big picture in mind. But, to that point, I really couldn't disagree with most of his points...

I remember talking to my friends at school about the game. I said if we dont show up next week against dallas we are going to be in trouble. They showed up and crushed dallas with great defense. After that they just kept winning

I think it is to McCarthy's credit that he turned the team around. He could have just as easily lost them and have the season turn to disaster. It may have been his greatest accomplishment of the year.
