Not in the playoffs, they don't. I realize that this is a new season, different from all the others, etc. But the Packers have not been "feared" at home by ANYONE at home in the playoffs, since the Holmgren era. That's an absolute fact. I liked what we saw in 2010 - last seed, low expectations and won three straight with everything on the line. Hate to say it, but I do think that sometimes ... being at home and in the presence of all the so-called "ghosts and greats" can be mentally overbearing for some of these guys - in a playoff game. I know damn well the Giants feared nothing and no one, the last two playoff games they played there. They probably had all the confidence in the world, and why not? Pressure wasn't on them, one bit. They could have sucked on lolipops, played hopscotch and done jumping jacks for 3 hours - they were winning those games and they knew it. The pressure was on the Packers entirely and we all know how that ended.
Personally, I'd prefer being on the road. I'd like another shot at the 49ers in San Fran. We're due against that team.
