This is a straw man because I can't think of one poster here who puts much stock into what Cowherd or Bayless says.
Yea wrong group. 98% of us hate BOTH those guys. The other 2% either like Cowherd or Bayless...but not both.

May I be frank with you? That was just classic.surely this isn't your first week on an internet message board is it? And I'll call you Shirley if I want to.![]()

Nobody has interviewed me yet.
The New York Daily News claimed in a Friday report that sources say the Patriots head coach “sees an opening” to become the next Giants coach, and might try to take advantage of the opportunity.
Think Kraft is afraid of losing McDaniels?Any one see report of new england shake up?

Yeah, I don't know about that "every season" bit, but clearly for a coach coming in, anything less than an eventual Super Bowl win will be viewed as a failure.
The same reports were circulating around this time last year, that Belichick wanted to go to the Giants. Of course, that doesn't mean it isn't true.Any one see report of new england shake up?
I realize I don't represent everybody, but I'm an old timer. And I feel like as long as we have Rodgers, if the new head coach can't deliver us a Super Bowl win, then it's a failure, on some level at least. In those seasons that start with the Pack in the top few, yes. In seasons like 2011 and 2014, yes. For the old timers, no.
I know I'm a new guy here with not even 10 posts, but you definitely need an argument for why you're against him and why he would be such a terrible choice. Such childish nicknames won't really strengthen your case.

Demovsky also has Pete Carmichael, the Saints OC, being interviewd tomorrow in New Orleans:So our final known interview is Sunday. I believe we cant sign a coach who's team is still playing, only interview. If on Monday we have no HC, we can cross off the list: Gase, Pagano, Philbin, Munchak and Caldwell.
That leaves us with:
McDaniel: Pats
LaFluer:SaintsTitans
Flores: Pats
Campbell: saints

How could it be otherwise? It is the object of the whole shebang.I realize I don't represent everybody, but I'm an old timer. And I feel like as long as we have Rodgers, if the new head coach can't deliver us a Super Bowl win, then it's a failure, on some level at least.
Do in-laws count? Tell me who to marry.That's because you aren't Rodell330's uncle's barber's neighbor's cousin's best friend's nephew.
Very bitter. That does perhaps leave the worst taste in the mouth.2014, by the way, was the bitterest pill.
I have that, found it in a yard sale.I have the original hardcover 2 volume Vince Lombardi on Football.
It would be more impressive if it was Madden '97. I kept that one around for awhile since we were Super Bowl champs.2) I have managed to keep Madden 08 running on my PC through Windows 10.
That is correct. The competition committee considered a rule change this past offseason, call it the "Josh McDaniels Rule", whereby a guy could be signed to a contract as HC while he's still in the playoffs for another team. Interestingly, the Colts owner was one party that objected to the change.I believe we cant sign a coach who's team is still playing, only interview.

My qualifications [one should always have at least 3]:
1) I have the original hardcover 2 volume Vince Lombardi on Football.
2) I have managed to keep Madden 08 running on my PC through Windows 10.
3) The battery is dead on my wristwatch [one should never wear a watch to an interview].
Slightly more serious: I am imagining what would be the best approach to an NFL coach interview. Of course, the Packer job is the only one I want but, should I tell this to Gute or would it be better to play coy as if playing golf for the rest of my life is on a par with coaching in Green Bay?
