Halftime. Well, it looks like Rodgers' calf is going to be the issue it was feared to be.

Brad Jones' drive extending holding penalty and the foul-up on the attempted time-out/snapped ball fumble are the two big bad plays.

Thankfully Dallas misses two field goal attempts and the Pack gets the ball to start the second half.

The game is still the Pack's to win but it may be another dramatic finish- like the Ice Bowl was.

As bad as the Packers looked in the first half, at least they're only down 3 and get the ball at half.

The defense needs to get tough and start making some plays. The only reason this game isn't more out-of-hand is because Dallas is shooting themselves in the foot.

Speaking of that challenge, it was a good call, but it's a bad rule.

That being said, Bryant should know the rules and to just make the match and not get greedy for the TD.

WOW!!! That game was like a sandwich. The stuff in the middle tasted kind of bad but the slices around it - the beginning and the end- were delicious.

The Cowboys' Christie magic fails before the power of St.Vince. Now they can fumigate the visiting owner's box and the Pack goes on to Seattle.

How is it a bad rule? If the ball hits the ground at any point in the process of the catch it's incomplete. Simple.

He took a couple steps and dove forward all while keeping position. To me, he had possession and caught that ball.

We can disagree.

He didn't take steps, he was stumbling forward. He couldn't have stayed on his feet if he had tried. Any time you go to the ground in the act of catching the ball (which he did) you MUST maintain possession all the way. Even Aikman agreed with the overturn. Garrett didn't even whine about it as much as he usually does.

I understand the rule, just don't like it. If it looks like a catch, it should be a catch.

Either way, worked out for us! Go Pack!

Why shouldn't a receiver be required to control the ball all the way to the ground?

To me, he had possession, then dove forward. Like the Calving Johnson call a few years ago, but not as extreme.

We can just disagree. Not going to keep arguing it. Have highlights to watch and the radio to listen to. Go Pack!

Well, okay. You think he caught it. Fine. All evidence shows otherwise. Whatever.

Out of the clear blue western skies...
Let's not lose sight of something very important about the ruling on Bryant's play. It was not the last play of the game. There would have been plenty of time for Rodgers to bring the Packers down the field again to regain the lead. The alibi is already getting tiresome. Dallas defense was not exactly holding point against Rodgers and Packer offense in the second half. I'm confident that Rodgers would have succeeded. MVPs can do that.

I hate how they get to dodge the cold. Well guess what Jerry? Its going to be blistering cold.
Im happy to see it will be Dallas to get the super special beat down thats reserved for the team that gets in the way of us going to Seattle.......
Jerry Jones better consult his plastic surgeon before coming to GB? He might crack.

If you take a look on any of the Dallas forums the fans aren't calling foul. No one expected anything from the Cowboys this season, 0-4 in the pre-season, the league's worst defence last year, Romo's injuries.
I'm proud of what they achieved.
Good luck in Seattle.

My first reaction before the reversal was that it was a good thing they left so much time on the clock.
