Couldn't stop 3rd and 11 pass to Cobb. Even if Dallas scored a TD, do they make 2 pt conversion? Packers drove well into their territory; likely Crosby makes FG under 40 yds to tie or win. If Dallas goes ahead, Packers likely call a different series on next possesion. Since they drove it downfield and ran out clock without thinking TD, what's to say they don't score a TD and win anyway?
The week before didn't cost Detroit either. They had the lead at the time of the 'non call', then couldn't stop Dallas from scoring, then couldn't do anything with another chance on offense.
In neither game was the outcome decided by the calls. Both teams still had their chances, and couldn't get it done.
