Let's not lose sight of something very important about the ruling on Bryant's play. It was not the last play of the game. There would have been plenty of time for Rodgers to bring the Packers down the field again to regain the lead. The alibi is already getting tiresome. Dallas defense was not exactly holding point against Rodgers and Packer offense in the second half. I'm confident that Rodgers would have succeeded. MVPs can do that.

Exactly, and thank you! Still over 4 minutes to go and Dallas never got the ball back. Couldn't stop Packers even when they knew GB was going to run to bleed the clock. Couldn't stop 3rd and 11 pass to Cobb. Even if Dallas scored a TD, do they make 2 pt conversion? Packers drove well into their territory; likely Crosby makes FG under 40 yds to tie or win. If Dallas goes ahead, Packers likely call a different series on next possesion. Since they drove it downfield and ran out clock without thinking TD, what's to say they don't score a TD and win anyway?
The week before didn't cost Detroit either. They had the lead at the time of the 'non call', then couldn't stop Dallas from scoring, then couldn't do anything with another chance on offense.
In neither game was the outcome decided by the calls. Both teams still had their chances, and couldn't get it done.
Want a game decided by a bad call/non call? The '98 playoff game between GB and SF. Rice clearly fumbles, Green Bay clearly recovers. With the time left, the Packers take a couple of knees and it's over. Funny how after years of talking about it, a form of instant replay was in effect the next season.

Everybody knows heartbreak.
