Should the Packers consider adding a Dome top over Lambeau Field? Using it 12 months a year for other activities would be a plus.

The structure is not designed to handle a roof. Thus you'd be putting walls up around the existing stadium to handle it. Be cheaper at that point to just build a new stadium. You could of course tear off the 1998 addition to build the new walls. That would be $300million of MY tax dollars wasted.

What about Structural columns place around the current stadium with Structural carrying beams placed on top to carry the roof load. Just asking should it be pursed to see if it's possible. i.e. Bridges span greater distances and carry larger loads then snow.

During training camp in 1966, Green Bay Packers coach and general manager Vince Lombardi floated a most remarkable idea.
We’re thinking about putting a dome over Lambeau Field, he said that August.
