Did anyone see the Dion Sanders/ Favre interview? Favre has turned his back on Green Bay and it's fans with much arrogance... Statue? HELL NO!
Not right now, it's not the right time. There is too much tension still, maybe in 20 years or so when things die down but I'm not sure he deserves the honor. Having a statue put in Lambeau field is one of the highest honors, I'm not so sure even 20 years down the road that it would fit.
I think icons like Lambeau and Lombardi deserve that. His # should go up, nothing else.
Yep, still hate Japan. And here's the thing Smokey, you have no right to question that. Your experiences are different than mine. That's a family thing and it's larger than football.Wow, I can just feel the love in here ! Do you guys still hate Japan & Germany ? So he did some goofy stuff, left a bad taste in our mouths', drink some beer and move on. No statue, yet I do remember the 70's & 80's. I will not forget what it felt like to be winners again and not just the NFL's Siberia for unwanted players. Tell me that none of you have ever screwed up(*****). We never forget. He has his awards and trophy's, plenty of money, and a spot in the hall of fame. Perhaps someday he will earn some forgiveness as well. I may someday, how about you ?
GREAT IDEA!!!I think I figured out a solution... 2 birds 1 stone...
Penn state sends us the Joe Pa statue and we put it with Lombardi and Lambeau. We send them a Brett statue.
Everyone is happy.
Somebody earlier suggested a statue of the "Lambeau Leap". Fantastic idea. It was totally unique to us, even though a few have tried to copy it miserably. It is truly iconic of the Green Bay Packers !!! IMHO
LOL! At least the fans will always be loyal.Maybe they should have statues of fans. Maybe a drawing each year, 5 bucks a pop!
How are you Green bay Girl?LOL! At least the fans will always be loyal.
Livin the dream...Loyal
Ya got that right Gal!LOL! At least the fans will always be loyal.
