Who had the under on how long it'd take to start a Freeney thread? ;)

    No. He's not a 3-4 guy and he's old.

If he didn't fit as a linebacker in IND and Aaron Kampman didn't fit here, why would any guy like him fit in here??

LOL, no. He was wildly uncomfortable playing OLB in Indy's 3-4 last season, so our scheme doesn't really fit his talents. Plus the NFL is a youth movement. Maybe we bring him in for a look AFTER the FA frenzy settles down, or sometime during training camp, but I wouldn't be at all interested in throwing big money at the guy now.

No. Would be a bad investment in our system. He will go to a 4-3 team

I heard that Charles Woodson is available. Think we should get him and move him to safety to replace Nick Collins? He doesn't have the CB speed anymore and he was good once. Maybe he'll get it back and if not can teach the youngsters how to play DB.

Like when a shortstop or outfielder gets old, he can become a first baseman, a 4-3 DE when he gets old can become a 3-4 DE - maybe hahaha.

It mainly comes down to money for me - and I'm sure for TT also. If he is reasonably priced - which I doubt, I'd get him.
