Great 1st game...
Loved McCarthys aggressive playcalling
Hope Tramon isnt out 2 long..
Glad this team has a long week to relax and prepare to smother the Panthers.....

Go Pack Go!!!

Green Bay 44
Carolina 16

Cam Newton will be running for his life for 4 quarters. This game will end up looking like an episode of Man vs. Food instead of an NFL football game... The Packers will eat the Panthers and toss the bones out for the dogs to enjoy.

Green Bay - 38
Carolina - 9

Panthers' defense is underrated, and I doubt Packers put up 40 two weeks in a row. I think they come out of the gate slow, but blow things open in the second half. I expect a better defensive effort, for sure.

Packers 30, Panthers 10

I dont see this one being close but I also agree its very hard to put up 40 points against an NFL team. so i say 35 - 10

I think that the Panthers will be better than most feel, just a gut feeling, 27-17 Packers, Panther's points largely on the ground (I've got Jonathan Stewart for fantasy need some good runs and scores from him :D)

well i say 42-17
17 because De'angelo williams and jon stewart are healthy and will get alot of carries.

i'm still trying to figure out how Carolina is gonna cover every one especially JMike. unless they put Godfrey on him or sherrod martin.

35 - 10 Packers. I'm not convinced our special teams coverage will keep their ears pinned back. I'm speculating they'll get really good field position at least once and possibly more.

27-13. A return TD for Carolina on ST. I think James Jones will have a big day, with Clay recording a sack or 2.

I think Clay will want to make a lot of noise on this one...look for the number 1 effort being better pass rush...much better. I also don't see over 40 points on the Packers side though...to do that back to back, i just dont see it (but would be nice). I just hope tramon is a-ok.

Packers: 35
Panthers: 10

I also cast my vote for Cobb because in two plays he redeemed the ST kick returns.

Saints Fan here,

I am all in favor of the 52-0 post and want the same thing done to Atlanta. We'll return the favor to Chicago.
I'm not sure I'd like that.

Honestly, would rather face the Bears again in the playoffs than the Saints. Will take my chances with Cutler, rather than Brees.

As for the game, smell a minor letdown, but with us still winning.

Carolina has the second worst team in the league (Bengals go to #1.) and I think we will give Cam Newton a wake up call. He may have Warren Moon mentoring him but that don't mean he's going to be him in 3 years. Newton will be RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE every down, and will turn the ball over at least twice (hopefully 5 or 6 times cause I hate him so much)

I do however think they can so what a nuisance to us since we have the target on our back. Last year almost every team played the Saints really close when they were coming off a Super Bowl victory. Hopefully we'll slaughter Carolina and remind Newton that he will not ever be the next Moon.

I actually feel bad for the Panthers...I have the feeling they are going to be eaten alive on both sides of the ball. In fact, I smell a shutout next week.
