Now that I've given my 47 cents on the Bengals game....

I'm preppin' for my trip up nort' to the promised land - the Frozen Tundra!
I'll be in section 124, row 10, probably at the left end of the bench just around the 30 yard line..... My girl is makin' up a big board to hold up for all to see.. the rest is up to the cameras... as they say.....

If I can do it - we'll have logos on there for the Club and PF.....

I am pumped to be AT LAMBEAU once again.... awesome seats, too!
I wrote a letter to Bob Harlan early last week, and hopefully he'll have time for a luncheon on this Saturday, while we're at the HOF.

Anything you guys want me to say to the ol' boy?

Just to rationalize my posting a bit for you guys.......

Bob Harlan is a regular Schmoe.... He's one of us.. a blue collar kind o' guy!

Last year (2004) I wrote a 3-page letter to the Packers, to him.... and I explained what we hoped to accomplish during our time with the Team in our City - we tried to arrange a club get-together before the game, etc.

In process, of that letter, Bob Harlan called and left me a voicemail with his callback number.... and I enjoyed discussing several things with the ol' boy. He is a very down-to-earth, non-pretentious sort... it was great.

Now, I don't go callin' the guy every time I get a whim... that'd be rude!
Just the same, I do have an opening for discussions when necessary....

While the Packers can't be creating any type of symbiotic relationship with our Club - they can assist with helping us create charitable events - which is the top priority of my visit with him this weekend.

W're hoping to create an off-season Event which would be our very first IPB Charity Pool Tournament - very much like what the Houston Cheddarheads have been successful at for several years now.. Houston goes through the Donald Driver and Santana Dotson Foundations, which are located/based... in Houston.

Not tootin' my horn here - it's pretty much a business meeting and I just wish I could deduct the trip off my taxes.... If I can prove it's a job interview, that might work....

I'm sure he'll have a few things to say about all packerfans!
Anyone want me to ask him a specific question?

Bob Harlan just called and left a voicemail....

It's not meant to be, as they say....
Apparently, Mr. & Mrs. Harlan are scheduled for a family outing with relatives this coming weekend. But, he sends his best wishes...

The questions I had, will now have to be mailed up to him, as they concern charity work by our Club... Sure wish he'd have found time... oh well.

Maybe next time --- Go Packers!
