I live in Las Vegas. We have good distribution here.

I wish I`d known that when I got married there. I ended up drinking Budweiser there and got the hangover from hell after only three damn bottles . The bartender wasn`t the most helpful guy I`d ever met.

Some people don't realize there is a city outside of the casinos here. Red Rock is beautiful, and stunning during sunrise.

Some great big rocks to hide the bodies behind too....:roflmao: Only joking, only joking !!

So do all the big casinos carry a wide range of the beers, or is it particular shops ??

Surprisingly, some casinos have craft beer bars inside of them. Not all of them of course.

Particularly at the "M" Casino, they have a bar called "32 degrees" with 96 beers on tap, most of them craft beers from around the US and Europe (England, Germany, and Belgium mostly). You can get Chimay on top for the same price as a Sam Adams.

That's good to know. We stayed at the M.G.M., and we planned to go back for our tenth Wedding anniversary in a few years time.

What time of the year were you here for the wedding? Summer? Winter? Spring?

It was October. I laughed because although the temp was in the 80`s, it was, as I was told, your Autumn/Winter. I even saw a gent in a three piece suit and overcoat. I was wearing shorts and sportshirt every day.

Yeah, October is a great month. 80's (+30C) sounds about right for October. We have very mild winters. Sometimes we even have +25 on Christmas.

Summer is where we usually get beat up. Between +45 and +48 (112 - 118F) usually. I guess we will never get the World Cup in Las Vegas. ;)

Awesome city though ;). We really enjoyed it there.

After much experimentation, I've settled on my 5 all time favourites. In no particular order:

Guiness - Ireland
Stella Artois - Belgium
Tiger - Singapore
Tsingtao - China
Corona - Spain

Beers, I have a unmitigated hatred for:

Heineken
Budweiser
Tsingtao....really?:D Yeah, not bad for a Chinese beer.
I found Tiger Beer decent, I like Stella too and no doubt Guiness is still one of the better Stouts. Fully agree on Heineken and Budweiser (The American Bud, right?), nothing but water with a slight taste of beer. Awful.

Cool, is this in your garage ? And how long this it take to brew 7 gallons of beer ?

That is indeed my garage. The whole brew day (milling barley, mash, boil, clean) takes about 5 to 5.5 hours no matter how much is brewed. The process is the same be it 5 gallon, 10 gallons... etc. and 7 gallons = 27 litres for you metric people. :D

And how do you store it, in bottles ? However, sounds like fun

Usually 5-gallon kegs. Rarely do I bottle (it takes a lot of time).
