If the Packers really were interested in him, this wouldn't hold them back. It will probably all get solved this off-season, so why are people making it seem like it's impossible that TT might get him? I don't think TT will sign him because of his antics and wanting to play every down, but that's completely different to what the link provides on why he won't be a FA yet..

Joey Porter will be released March 5th. The only reason they took him back is because their salary cap wouldn't allow them to release him yet without releasing a lesser player. March 5th it will be no problem.
Dolphins are my second favorite team, so I'll be sad to see him go. I wouldn't mind seeing him in green and gold for sure.
I'm curious the details of his contract and how it compares to Kampan's...

My dad is a huge Dolphins fan so I root for them as well. Nowhere near how much I like the Pack, but I like to see them do well.
Going to be fun in my house when the Pack beats the fins this year though...
