From another Packers board...I have no source... but I thought it was interesting, if true, how they pulled it off..

Pats history of cheating?
For a window into the Patriots' tactics, multiple Packers sources provided a fascinating account of what happened in the 35-0 victory last Nov. 19. A man identifying himself as a Patriots employee asked a security guard if he could shoot footage of Lambeau Field before the game, and permission was granted. Just before the game, he requested to stay on the sidelines to record quarterback Tom Brady for the coaching staff. However, he was soon spotted filming the Packers defense and signaling Patriots coaches. A member of the Packers security staff witnessed the exchange and asked him to leave. He retreated to the tunnel, continued filming, and appeared to be communicating with the coaches via hand signals before being escorted off the field. Asked why the Patriots weren't reported, a Packers executive suggested there was a code of silence regarding such matters, particularly after a blowout. "It bothers you that it's cheating," he said, "but it's not the reason they kicked our (butt)." It's interesting to note a pair of comments after that game. The first came from Packers corner Al Harris, who praised the Patriots coaching staff. "It's almost like they knew what we were doing, you know?" he said. "You have to tip your hat to them. They ran plays designed for us. They ran plays that made us check out of some things. I don't know who calls their plays, but Belichick is pretty good. Honestly, he's pretty good." -- Boston Herald

I say ban the team for the rest of the season. And kick out their coach for life.
That would send a message to the rest of the NFL.
And it sounds like Harris nailed it without even knowing it when he said "It's almost like they knew what we were doing, you know?"
Yeah.....they DID know, cause they CHEATED.

Maybe we can make Belichick coach the Browns for the rest of the season. :p  Or, if he is indeed guilty of stealing signals from the Packers last year, Brett Favre could throw footballs at him for an hour.

The Browns idea wouldn't work........cause then they would suddenly start winning! (If no one threw out the videographer that is!)
I LIKE the idea of having Favre throw at him.
Now........what happens (i hope it doesn't of course) that Favre comes up ONE touchdown short of passing Marino. Maybe had they not CHEATED, mabe Favre would have thrown a few against them. It impacts alot, not just the final score of the game. Thats why i say kick the bum out for LIFE!

A man identifying himself as a Patriots employee asked a security guard if he could shoot footage of Lambeau Field before the game, and permission was granted. Just before the game, he requested to stay on the sidelines to record quarterback Tom Brady [stats] for the coaching staff. However, he was soon spotted filming the Packers defense and signaling Patriots coaches. A member of the Packers security staff witnessed the exchange and asked him to leave. He retreated to the tunnel, continued filming, and appeared to be communicating with the coaches via hand signals before being escorted off the field.

Asked why the Patriots weren’t reported, a Packers executive suggested there was a code of silence regarding such matters, particularly after a blowout. “It bothers you that it’s cheating,” he said, “but it’s not the reason they kicked our (butt).” [i.e. "We ain't rats."

It’s interesting to note a pair of comments after that game. The first came from Packers corner Al Harris, who praised the Patriots coaching staff.

“It’s almost like they knew what we were doing, you know?” he said. “You have to tip your hat to them. They ran plays designed for us. They ran plays that made us check out of some things. I don’t know who calls their plays, but Belichick is pretty good. Honestly, he’s pretty good.

Following the season, Belichick conducted an interview with the Globe and singled out the Packers game as a turning point, coming on the heels of consecutive losses to the Jets and Colts.

“I think things could have unraveled a little bit,” he said. “It’s a point around midseason and that was a big game to rein things back in. I think it showed the team what we could do.”

Some pretty serious, funny, undercover stuff going on in football these days. Get this....last year before the Montana vs. Montana State football game here in Missoula, coach Bobby Hauck (Griz) closed all practices that week to fans, media, etc. Practices were held in a locked up and guarded Grizzly Stadium.

Well, Duh, coach Hauck.....did you bother to look behind the East stands and see 8,400 foot Mt. Sentinel butted right up against the stadium???
Several people were spotted up the mountain with camera's, but security guards, being slightly out of shape, couldn't begin to get up the mountain to put an end to the alleged spying.

Did it help the Bobcats? NOOOO....37-12 Grizzlies.

I may be wrong, but I seem to recall some discussion on this board after the Patriots game last year to the effect that it was like the Patriots knew exactly which plays the Packers were going to run. But we were more focused on the offense than the defense, I think. Who knows, maybe they were stealing the offense's radio signals as well.

I was disappointed to hear that there is a "code of silence" against reporting this stuff, though. If you don't have the guts to report it when it happens, you kind of deserve what you get.
