I think Paul Allen gave the Lions some extra motivation when he said, "This isn't the Lions, this is the Super Bowl!" when he got all irate at the Favre pick.
Frankly, I'd love to see the Lions clean the Vikes clock. That would make me a very happy camper.

This is what drives me nuts. Most Vikings fans act like they're big. Like they've won something.
This might be why I hate them more than I hate the Bears. And I do hate the Bears a lot. I mean, a lot.

I hate the Bears too, but I have a modicum of respect for them. I have NONE for the Vikings. To me, they're the toilet bowl of the NFL. In fact, my friends and I repeatedly use the phrase "Gotta take the Vikes to the Superbowl" to let each other know when we're gonna be AFK because mother nature is beckoning.
It's hard to love the Vikings when they are all about talk. John Randle... Chris Carter... Pat Williams... that idiot Jared Allen... Never once do I remember hearing an interview with one of their players and found that they sounded at least humble. They are the NFC versions of the current Jets.

I've always stated that after a game has been played, the result will never change. So, whining about officiating is pointless.

another reason to secure homefeild advantage. All the home teams this season in the playoffs all had favorable refs. To me though, officiating has been getting worse each season. We had professional athletes competing against each other wit basketball/soccer refs who donno wtf they are doing. nfl needs to hire professional refs that all they do is ref games and not bartend or lift weights wit Arnold Schwarzenegger during the week. seriously the one ref is a bartender at some vegas casino and the one was lifting weights wit arnold. besides OT rules the this is another area the nfl needs to work on. BTW Vikes Fans..........HAHA you guys got what you had coming to ya, n not a superbowl either.
