Could have backfired big time though. I think we can assume Reggie didn't really think it was God and he could have been offended with Mike pulling the stunt. People have been offended by far less and some people take their religion pretty seriously.

I never met Reggie in person, but I can safely say he was definitely filled with the Holy Spirit, when religious legalism and formality becomes much less important it allows the spirit of the message to ring much more true. Reggie knew that even our Lord has a sense of humor

not true imo. The bottom feeders make dumb financial decisions which is why they’re bottom feeders. There is a finite group of players and a finite salary cap. It’s the dumb bottom feeders that help give the Packers the opportunity to be a perennial contender. It’s sound management and good coaching that separates the elite franchises from everyone else.

He was doing lines in the Lockerroom at halftime (no kidding).
That famous botched field goal he ran in for a TD, he himself said he was high on Coke. He was later fired by Bart Starr because of his usage. I just remember his hair was kinda poofy like that. Thanks for sharing Poker
