The Giants need an offense that allows Eli to get the ball out of his hands quickly because his OL has been awful since the end of 2011. Guy catches a rash of **** here because it's NY, but he's won two Super Bowls and is a Top 10 QB. Think this offense will do wonders for him.

Win Superbowl, Defense becomes garbage, OL falls apart, and everybody gets hurt. Sure sounds like us.

Eli catches flack for being a toss it up without looking coward in the pocket most of the time causing him to AVERAGE an INT per game, and because people try to act like he's a top 3 QB when he's really just a top 10 QB. He might not even be the 2nd best QB in his own division.

what? Injuries? The giants had a crap load of injured players as well and Eli was playing like garbage. No excuses.

Right, because which guy is actually injured doesn't matter at all. I'd take our second string with Rodgers against last year's giants team that beat us.

Also is true that WE DIDN'T exploit Eli like the rest of the NFL did, we didn't get pressure and our secondary sucked. So go ahead with that 2nd string offense you speak of, the defense will sure do enough to let us down.

Go get 'em Oshkosh. It truly amazes me that some folks are in denial about last year. Rodgers goes down and so did GB.

Hope the defense gets help in the draft, has some of the younger players step up and Peppers helps.

Offensively, better hope Bulaga comes back strong and Tretter can overcome the injury and faster pace of the NFL.

Should be an interesting draft and training camp.

Tretter was activated off PUP at the end of last year. It was just a broken ankle.

We've managed to make Eli look like a HOFer the last few years, but it's true that some players play great against some teams--in any sport, year after year. That might be part of it. That's not to excuse the play of our defense the last couple of years, which needs help in the middle up front and in the backfield. Like baseball, teams that are weak up the middle are not contenders. OCBP is correct about the o-line as well. The tackles are unsettled, and certainly are not elite. Tretter is as close as you can get to a complete unknown, irregardless of his ankle injury. He could be solid; he could be a terrible mistake. There's a lot of work to be done.

Giants have beaten the breaks off us the last three times. They clearly have our number. The defense gets shredded every time.
