Even Micah Parsons can't help overcome MLF's ineptitude. Leadership/team failures cost numerous games, e.g. Cleveland, Carolina, Philly, & 2 Bear's. Should've been 13-4-1 heading into a bye week, but MLF just wouldn't have it.
The only way the Packers have any chance to improve under MLF is if players like Parsons and Love take on a much bigger vocal leadership role. The leadership sure isn't coming from the coaching.

I gotta say, I've been a Packers fan for over 60 years, and this garbage under LaFleur is frustrating to the point of being unwatchable. 90% of our issues last night, were poor coaching and a lack of discipline.

A delay of game, coming out of a timeout! Are you serious? It's impossible to defend MLF, and I was once a HUGE fan. 1-5 in our last 6 playoff games, with two HOF caliber quarterbacks?!

It's time to move on before it gets worse.

We kept Mike Sherman too long after 4th and 26 and McCarthy too long after the NFC title game meltdown. This ranks up there with those.

I feel last nights loss is much worse than any of the prior ones you listed of Sherman and MM, all S**ked, but this Bears meltdown takes 1st place in total f***ery.

MLF seems to be getting dragged hard around the block in national news outside Packers fans. When that starts happening usually time to move on.

I dont see how you sign him to an extension and I dont see how him coaching for his life on 1 year remaining is a good thing (too big of a distraction)
Exploring a rare HC trade is the perfect solution if there is a market.

We can help restock our draft capital coffers, and MLF saves some face.

Since people have often said here that 10 teams would be blowing up MLFs phone if we ever fired him, surely there must be a trade market.

Id rank the NFC title game meltdown #1 due to it was one game away from The Super Bowl. Last night #2 and the 4th 26 #3

I went with last night, because 1. We had a 3 score lead, 2. We gave up 25 pts in the 4thQ, 3. Our Kicker left 7 pts off the board, any of those hit, and we could have kicked a game tying or winning kick as time expire, and last but not least... it was against Da Bears!

We are the type of organization that will sit and ponder on this for 3 weeks, watch all the other HC candidates get scooped up, and then extend Lafleur because we don’t have any good options.
I hate to admit it, but I think this is a critically important, and accurate, point.

I stated earlier Packers should've been 13-4-1 & heading into a bye week, but Seattle still would've been #1 with the bye at 14-3. GB would've been #2, Bears #7 (possibly), and the same ****-show would've played out in Lambeau, instead.

It will be interesting what will happen now with Policy as team president instead of Murphy. I heard Policy does not want a lame duck HC so he will either extend MLF or go in another direction. Would he keep Gute as GM if he decides to fire MLF? It would be wild to be a fly on the wall when these decisions are made!

Well, another one and done with a brutal, pathetic choke. Some people predicted this familiar ending as early as the Carolina debacle and the warnings became even more vocal after the beat down in Denver.

In the future, if nothing much changes, the people predicting a choke will be called pessimists but history has a way of repeating itself. Don't expect different results if the same cast of characters is trotted out here next year.
I will admit I was wrong. There were aspects of this team that showed positive. Yet the guy running the show found a way to repeat the exact same mistakes across multiple contests.
If not for Matt, I think an above average Coach could’ve put this game away even with the injuries.

Between Special Teams and playing like it’s a Scrimmage game at the end of Q2 and beyond (until he tried to reopen the stage too late) it was a colossal meltdown. Yet it’s NOT an anomoly. Thus has been anything but outside normal. It’s been consistent meltdowns now across seasons.

0-5 That finish would not be acceptable to any fan base or any front office in the NFL, unless the starting QB was season ended and even possibly not that excuse.

Agree.

The team is a reflection of its head coach. Lack of toughness, no killer instinct, low football IQ, choking under pressure….these can be traced to LaFleur. There is absolutely NO REASON to think these things will magically be corrected and that next season will be any different. It’s been 7 years and things are getting worse.

The time to change is now, while many of the pieces for a successful team are still in place, rather than wait until everything falls apart completely.

The more I think about it the more I'd like to see Curt Cignetti. Yes I know, college FB and the NFL are two different animals but Cignetti's meticulous coaching might be what the Packers need.

Sadly, there is a lot of truth to this.

We are going to find out rather quickly what kind of president Policy will be.

If one has to go, I think he extends Gute, and Fires MLF. Gute has added some very talented players, we just need a new leader coaching them. Imo.

If MLF does in fact get fired, I'm going to predict he ends up in Miami with J-E Sullivan. Do we swap HC's with Miami? I think if you want go with an offensive minded coach, McDaniel would have to be on the short list. I think his last two years with Tua's concussions and inadequacies didn't help him. Would be intrigued to see what he could do with Jordan.
