18 teams have went for 25 or more fourth downs. Only 9 have converted more than we have.Specifically, he has no idea what to do on 4th and 1.

Only 9? In other words, the definition of mediocre. Are you good with his decision to run yet again out of the shotgun on 4th and one inch from our own 35 yard line?18 teams have went for 25 or more fourth downs. Only 9 have converted more than we have.
There it is.Yes. Like my eyes. They flicker every time we lose a game and with the predictability of setting my watch, it’s immediately a “Fire Capers” crowd comes runnin’ like a witch hunt.
You’re certainly not suggesting just wiping the Staff clean without a plan?
Which HC are you suggesting??
Which DC are you getting?
Also Which OC?

Interesting. LA Rams just tried shotgun on 4th n 1 and a Practice Squad activation LB came shooting through and blew up the play for -2Heck no, I’d not shotgun run in that scenario. It did work a few times though before for him, but autrocious failures last few.

They could give a crap about tonight. I’m surprised they’re not just resting starters.Interesting. LA Rams just tried shotgun on 4th n 1 and a Practice Squad activation LB came shooting through and blew up the play for -2
Fire McVay!!![]()
But you’re not thinking this through. There it is.
No, no one suggested we just fire everyone Willy nilly.
Yes, it is silly to expect fans to have a solid list of the next hot coaching candidates when teams themselves will conduct an exhaustive hiring process before selecting a candidate.
It’s a good thing. LA is getting spankedThey could give a crap about tonight. I’m surprised they’re not just resting starters.

MLF is calling plays, so you’ll need an OC and HC or a name of one capable of doing both at a high level.
His best buddy isn’t hanging around while you clean house. He’s not that desperate. Go get a DC.
Rich is gone.
So yes. You need 4 names, which is why I asked and I had a feeling you didn’t think this through. That post tells me all I need to know. Sometimes some of you act like you just twinkle your nose and you get an upgrade at HC and OC and nothing else changes.
We really should make it a point to have a solution to replacing everyone we fire is my point. Otherwise it looks more like a way to complain instead of a valid argument. Massive changes can have serious implications. Just wishing away MLF and the entire Coaching tree doesn’t make this team better imo.
Carlson's missed FG wouldn't be Bisacchio's fault though.I wasn’t sure if he was mixing up those two losses or referring to Carlson’s missed field goal in 2023 which may have cost us the game.
Special teams played a role, to varying degrees, in our playoff exits in 2021, 2023, and 2024.
So then, you’re basically advocating for a move and going after someone like…. Matt LaFleur?Like a post said earlier, did we expect the team to hire the OC from the titans when we fired McCarthy?

Pretty much, minus the fact our team gets as soft as a marshmallow in big gamesSo then, you’re basically advocating for a move and going after someone like…. Matt LaFleur?

Why then and not now? Unless he wins at least one playoff game, he needs to go for sure. If he wins 1, maybe you can justify one more year. If he gets to the NFCC, fine, yes... another year. But lose, especially if not even close, or due to stupid decisions, he's gotta go.So there’s been a lot said about LaFleur.
So here’s my $.02… If we’re in the same spot next year, I.E the 7th seed or worse, lousy finish to the season on a losing streak, Same conversations about this team looking unprepared when there’s everything to play for…
Then it’s time to seriously open the conversation for a new Head Coach.
The biggest reason is the because of the injuries. Because we have to be fair and look at everything. Why then and not now? Unless he wins at least one playoff game, he needs to go for sure. If he wins 1, maybe you can justify one more year. If he gets to the NFCC, fine, yes... another year. But lose, especially if not even close, or due to stupid decisions, he's gotta go.

Or it could be a Mike VrableYou must be logged in to see this image or video!
Oh, and with regards to "somebody in mind," well, I dunno. I can't tell you how many times I've heard something like "If you fire LaFleur, who do you plan on getting who will be as good or better?"
Well, let me respond to a question with a question: If I went back in time 7-8 years and said "If you fire Mike McCarthy, who are you going to get who is better?", how many of you would have answered "The OC from the 27th-ranked Tennessee Titans scoring offense will be better"?

Last year, the Lions and Vikings were much better teams and the Packers came up short against good teams like usual.Heck if we had just Won that Bears game and we should have. We’d be 5-0 in Division and still playing for a #3 Seed this Week and a 6-0 Division Sweep
Last year the complaint centered around 1-5 (even though we pulled starters in Week 18). That group said man if we could only beat Vikings and Detroit and go 4-2 or 5-1 we’d be Championlike. Today we are 4-1 NFC North and have beat every team in the North. Now that group has backed up and moved the target to “if only we had Malik Willis as our Starter!
Cmon. It doesn’t wear well and imo it only makes me not trust those posters (not you) judgement. They are afraid to admit they were wrong about last year claiming we couldn’t beat a playoff caliber team.. so to hide from their glaring mistake they use MLF or Malik as a Ruse to avoid being found out.
Although the Bears are on their 4th coach since 2019.The Vikings, Lions and Bears have all hired coaches since MLF was hired in 2019. I would say right now they're better than MLF
If the division rivals can find better coaches, then maybe finding a better replacement isn't as arduous as it may seem.
The only options for the WC round are Chicago and Philly. We can’t face anyone else. It’s a good thing. LA is getting spanked
They need to pull Stafford and Blake the Decorum
Truly though LA is cutting their own you know what off. Their 1st Round pick is tied to Atlanta. An Atlanta Loss would all but guarantee the Rams a Bonafide top 10 selection. Not to mention Stafford is in the race for league MVP. I’d also much rather face Carolina or Tampa in the Wildcard than going to the freezing cold Chicago or Philly. Maybe they just don’t care which doesn’t bother me cause I hope they spiral in all honesty.
